I'm available for adoption at PetSmart in Spokane Valley!

Zula is an 11-month-old torbie (tabby tortie mix) and the perfect example of a cat with plenty of tortitude!
Patched tabbies, or torbies, are famous for their bold, vocal, and feisty personalities, and Zula proudly lives up to that reputation.

Like many torties, she's a bit of a diva—independent, confident, and determined to do things on her own terms.

She’s wonderfully chatty and isn’t shy about expressing her opinions, whether she wants food, attention, or for someone to open a door.

One moment she’ll be showering you with affection, and the next she’ll remind you that she sets the boundaries. With her high energy, strong personality, and undeniable charm, Zula has no problem ruling the household.

Life with Zula is never boring—and she wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️

🐾 The adoption fee for Teenager 6-12 months cats are $95. includes up to date on vaccines, deworming, sterilized (spay/neuter), microchip and a free vet check within two weeks of adoption.

🐾If you would like to apply to adopt, you can do so by completing an application in store and giving it to a volunteer or PetSmart cashier.

Many people know Partners for Pets for the cats and kittens we rescue, foster, and adopt into loving homes. But if you've ever wondered what else we do, we'd like you to meet Bella.

Bella was adopted through Partners for Pets in 2010. Sixteen years later, she found herself alone and struggling to survive on the streets. In May 2026, SCRAPS contacted us after Bella was brought into the shelter. Her adopters could not be reached, and she needed help.

The sweet cat we welcomed back was severely matted, underweight, and suffering from what appeared to be an abscess on her jaw. Further medical testing revealed heartbreaking news: the mass is cancer.

While we cannot change Bella's diagnosis, we can change how her story continues.

Today, Bella is in foster hospice care where she is warm, safe, loved, and never has to worry about her next meal. She greets everyone she meets with affection and gratitude. Despite everything she has endured, Bella's gentle spirit shines through. It's as if she knows she is finally safe.

This is rescue, too.

Sometimes rescue means finding a forever home. Sometimes it means providing comfort, dignity, and love at the end of life's journey.

Your donations help make stories like Bella's possible. They provide medical care, food, comfort, and a safe place for precious souls who have nowhere else to go.

Upriver Fire: If you need a cat carrier or assistance with your pet we will do what we can for you. We have cat food, water, and litter available at the Trent and Argonne parking lot. Call or knock on the door. We are planning for our cats as well but not in an evacuation zone yet.

We have 4 kittens, 3mo old. 2 boys and 2 girls. They’re so hard to get individual pictures of because they are always zooming! But you can come see us in person 🐈‍⬛

Henry is a handsome tuxedo boy with a motorboat purr and a heart full of love. He enjoys playtime, wrestling with his siblings, and watching the world go by from the window. When the adventures are over, he’s happy to settle in for cuddles and companionship. Henry is bonded with his brother Thomas, and the two would love to find a forever home together.

Thomas is equal parts snuggle bug and daredevil. This tuxedo boy loves lap time, chest cuddles, and sharing his wonderful purr, but when he’s awake he’s usually busy performing impressive kitten parkour , chasing his tail or chasing toys across the room. Playful, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining, Thomas is sure to bring joy and laughter to his forever family. Thomas is bonded with his brother Henry and are excited to find their forever home together.

Sophie is a sweet-and-spicy tuxedo girl with a playful spirit and a fantastic purr. She loves toys, chasing her tail, climbing into the dishwasher, exploring, and keeping life interesting. Full of personality and charm, Sophie is sure to add plenty of flavor and fun to her forever home.

Katie is a fluffy black beauty with a wonderful purr and a love for lap snuggles. She enjoys chasing toys, is fascinated with ceiling fans, showing off her kitten parkour skills, and curling up for cozy cuddle sessions. Katie has the perfect blend of sweetness, sass, and affection, making her an irresistible companion.
