Margaret aka Margie's Story

I am the shyest of my litter and the smallest. I am becoming more friendly, coming for pets, etc. But when out and about I will keep my distance.

I did get adopted with my brother, Kevin, but the family decided to return me because I was hiding all the time and would not interact with the family, even when they attempted to coax me out of my hiding place.

I do love canned food and could be coaxed into my foster’s room with it. I will need time to gain confidence and trust, even when I find that my forever home.

I would do best in a home that has a friendly cat I can bond and play with and a family that is willing to work with me to gain confidence.

🐾My adoption fee is $95. I have been spayed, micro chipped, and vaccinated for feline distemper and rabies.

🐾You can see me at our Adoption Center at 8901 E Trent, Ste 101 (corner of Argonne and Trent, next to Safeway). Please call 509-893-9829 for more information and/or to schedule an appointment. Appointments are typically available Tuesday through Saturday.

This month, we’ve had a Tree of Sharing at the Spokane Valley PetSmart (Broadway & Sullivan), and we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the generosity of our community.

Because of you, we received much-needed cat litter, food, toys, and cozy new beds. Your donations mean that when an unexpected medical bill comes up (and they always do), we can focus on care, not cost.

Saving cats truly takes an entire community, and we are so grateful to have you as part of ours. Here’s to every cat we’ve helped this year, and to all of you who make it possible, year after year. ❤️ 🐾

Meet Ally, affectionately known as Ally cat—an extraordinary soul with a heart full of hope. The vet estimates she’s just 2 years old—still so young, so full of life and potential. Ally is a truly beautiful girl, both inside and out—sweet, gentle, and longing for that one special family who will open their hearts to her, who will cherish her and give her the love she deserves.

Ally needs to be the only feline in her forever home as she doesn't do well with other cats. She’s waiting for a family to see beyond her struggles and see the beautiful, deserving soul she truly is, eager to find her place where she can be loved and live happily ever after.

🐾 The adoption fee for cats 1+year is $85. includes up to date on vaccines, deworming, sterilized (spay/neuter), microchip and a free vet check within two weeks of adoption.

🐾If you would like to apply to adopt, you can do so by completing an application in store and giving it to a volunteer or PetSmart cashier.

We are available for adoption at PetSmart in Spokane Valley ❤️💙

Stella: I love to be up high! You will find me in high places. I love treats!!! I am lovey but very independent. I will decide when to sit in your lap. I do sometimes sleep on your bed. I love toys & will chase them thin the house. I am 4 years old.

Pixie: I came to P4P when a lady showed up at the door with me in a plastic tote. I went to a foster home and it took a little bit of time but I am now healthy and ready to find my forever home. I am a sweetheart and I will do things on my own terms. I can be a love when I want, but I mostly love to play right now. I love canned food and treats are a fast way to my heart! I'm a little over 6 months old.

I do need another cat in the home to bond and play with. I do not care for dogs, so a dog free home would be best. Children over 6 please.
