ur dog, please contact us! Our goal is to reunite dogs with their owners or find loving, forever homes for these wonderful dogs. Every dog in Athens County MUST have an Athens County Dog License per the Ohio Revised Code Chapter 955. If your dog is found without a license a penalty or citation may be given. You can purchase licenses at The Athens County Dog Shelter or The Athens County Auditor's Office. This page is NOT for dog related issues.
