Hello friends,
We are asking for your support to help ensure our beloved Milford Charter Township remains the horse friendly and equestrian centered community that we all know and appreciate. The township is currently drafting a new 2026 Master Plan and right now the newly proposed document is subtly changing the way equestrian properties will be considered and prioritized in the future compared to alternative development and zoning propositions.
It is critical that the horse properties that we all love, share, and utilize remain a staple cornerstone of the community and the proposed plan as written fails to protect and safeguard Milford residents, visitors, and the structures required for our equine companions in this way.
If horses matter to you - if having safe spaces and land available for horses matter to you - if protecting a future with horses in your community matters to you..
Please take a moment to call, send your comment, emails, or letter to the township to make your voices heard.
