Her Heart Was Too Big To Say No
She never set out to save so many voiceless cats/kittens.
It started with one. A skinny stray, crying under a porch. Then another that someone dumped. Then a call - "Can you take just one more, no one else will?"
And she said yes. Every single time.
Not because she had the space. Not because she had the money. But because she couldn't stand to let them suffer.
She knew what would happen if she said no. She'd seen it too many times before.
So she brought them home. She fed them. She cleaned litter boxes until midnight. She held the sick ones. She stayed up with the scared ones. She gave every single one a name and a safe place to sleep.
She rescued too many. She knows that now.
There are so many mouths to feed, and the vet bills keep coming, and now she is facing the one thing she was trying to prevent - more kittens being born because she simply does not have the money to get them all spayed and neutered.
She is not a hoarder. She is not irresponsible. She is a rescuer whose heart got ahead of her wallet.
She never wanted to be a burden. She never wanted to ask for help. She thought she could do it all herself if she just worked harder.
But love doesn't spay and neuter cats. Money does.
Right now she has 32 cats that desperately need to be fixed. Every female that isn't spayed risks a litter. Every male that isn't neutered can create more. The cycle she has spent her whole life trying to stop is about to start right in her own home - and it is breaking her heart.
She did the hard, kind part. She said yes when everyone else said no.
Now she needs us to say yes to her.
A spay is $93 + $30 fiv/felv test + $20 Rabies + $20 fvrcp vaccine + $30 microchip
A neuter is $72 + $30 fiv/felv test + $20 rabies + $20 fvrcp vaccine + $30 microchip.
Even $5 helps fix one more.
If you have ever loved a cat that someone else threw away, if you have ever believed that one person trying to do the right thing matters - please help her finish what she started.
She didn't rescue too many because she was careless.
She rescued too many because she cares too much.
Let's help her get them all fixed, so no more are born to suffer.
