Hoof care is an important part of overall horse health and veterinary care. All of our horses receive expert farrier care regardless of their age, if they are available for adoption or if they are rideable or not. When considering horse ownership, remember that quality hoof care is an important aspect. Most horses need to be seen by their farrier about every six weeks. The cost for a certified farrier can vary depending on your area.

Did you know that most of the horses in our care aren’t rideable otherwise known as riding sound? There are MANY reasons why a horse should no longer or simply can’t be ridden and non of those reasons make the horse any less deserving of responsible care 💜Tiny Martini is a miniature horse who’s spent the last 20 years of his life with us! This little guy was one wild man in his younger years but he’s been quite the ambassador for our organization; attending parades, community events, and educating future horse owners 😊 ❤️

To be as unbothered as Ruben. Anyone who knows this handsome feline can attest to his way of life; riding in golf carts with , laying in the driveway and refusing to move for cars, sitting on round bales as they are being moved out to fields with the tractors…..what a life! ☀️
