We started these little seeds on Nov 3 and today we harvested on Nov 12. Some could have been ok a few more days and some we could have harvested sooner.

Here we are 9 days seed to table and they were very yummy. A little fresh green on my sandwich and a light salad on the side. All of that could be from 1 tray.

1 tray is about 1 tablespoon of seeds and produces about a cup of greens.

Come see us Saturday and get your starter kit to try it at home. It’s so fun to watch the little seeds sprout and grow up right before your eyes. The trays are reusable, just buy an extra mat and seeds. Or use your own soil mixture and seeds.

Time to start some more. Check back later for another round of starting microgreens.

It’s been 2 days since I started these trays of microgreens!
👀We have been checking on them each day since they are hanging out in our living room!
🚿We have made sure they stay moist.
💡And today we put them under our lights since they are waking up

Now we watch them grow! As the growing medium looks dry we will add water to the bottom trays so we don’t disturb the little baby plants.

Are you ready to give it a try? ❤️ or comment GROW and we will get you set up! Nothing fancy needed. We have a kit ready for you. All you will need is a spray bottle of water and a location with a light source (window, bathroom, countertop). We will walk with you through your first round of growing answering any questions you may have.

Do you have a greenhouse? What do you grow in your? What would you do if you had one?

This winter you don’t need a greenhouse to grow food. You can grow in a window sill, a sunny spot on your table, or anywhere near an outlet to plug in a grow light.

This winter at The Kight Farm we will be growing Microgreens follow along as we share that journey. If you want to follow along from home comment WINTER and we will connect to get you growing this winter!
