Submitting an online application before visiting while not required does make the process smoother. An online

application or paper application is required to be completed before meeting any of our adoptable pets. Cat Adoptions
We offer a few options for meeting our cats and kittens:

You can set up an in-person appointment. (recommended)

You can drop in 7 days a week from 11am to 3pm. There may be a wait outside as we are limiting the number of guests in our cattery (Brick House) at one time. Please ring the doorbell and the cattery staff will assist you. Dog Adoptions

To keep our pups happy and healthy, Pets Alive will now close the kennel daily from 2:00–3:00 p.m. for stress-free downtime. This quiet break helps our dogs relax, recharge, and enjoy a calm environment.

During this time:

Volunteers: You’re welcome to help with tasks like laundry, dishes, or enrichment prep.

Adopters: Guests can browse our adoption book and start applications while the dogs rest.

Meet Dante! 🐾

Dante is an almost 5-year-old purebred German Shepherd who weighs in at a solid 75 lbs of loyalty and smarts. He’s everything you’d expect from this amazing breed: curious, energetic, and devoted to his people. This handsome boy already knows “sit” and is eager to learn more.

Dante has lived with small children and did well with them. He has also lived with cats, though he’s made it clear he prefers a cat-free home. His favorite things include tennis balls, plush toys, and rope toys, and he’d love a family who enjoys playtime as much as he does.
