🎃 Halloween reminders 🎃

Keep candy and wrappers out of reach from your pets. Especially chocolate bars and candy with xylitol.

Secure your pets (ie. baby gates, leashes, closed in another room) when visitors are arriving, especially during extra busy times. Also keep in mind that visitors may be allergic to dogs, even if your pups are friendly.

If you are concerned your pet has ingested something they shouldn’t have, call poison control - it is worth the fee to talk the the experts. If they advise you to head to the ER, bring a phone charger and a snack - it’s a busy night and you might be waiting.

Brianna loves working with all types of animals and cares about making sure every animal receives the attention, patience, and care they deserve. Outside of work, you can usually find her riding horses and spending quality time with her own animals!

Alex is a groomer that brings the same care and attention to your pets as she does her clients! She has great enthusiasm for her work which helps her connect with animals of all shapes and sizes. When she is not at work Alex enjoys reading, hiking, and going to see broadway shows.

Went to a Halloween party straight after work. I was short on time and went as a vet tech (how original 😝). The written vitals on the hand is the most authentic part of the costume (iykyk) but the smiling and pretending like you’re not bleeding is a close second 🩸😆

During a demanding shift at an urgent care animal hospital, I served as a steady presence who helped keep our team connected and focused. With a busy caseload, unexpected emergencies, and the emotional stress that comes with caring for critically ill animals, I made an effort to communicate clearly, support my coworkers, and step in wherever I was needed. I helped maintain a positive attitude, encouraged teamwork, and stayed calm when the pace became overwhelming. By being dependable and willing to help wherever needed, I helped keep the team working efficiently and made sure we continued providing compassionate care to our patients and their families throughout the entire shift.
