At Tidy Tails, we care about more than just clean yards — we care about clean, nourishing lives for our pets too. 🐾

In this video, I’m sharing how I prepare Maple’s whole food meals using simple, clean ingredients and a lot of love. ❤️ From protein sources to healthy fats, I'll walk you through every tip, trick, and time-saving method I’ve learned to keep her diet as wholesome as her wagging tail.

Because just like we’re mindful of the environment our dogs play in, we believe it’s just as important to be mindful of what we put in their bowls. 🥩🥕🐶

🐾 At Tidy Tails, we treat every pup like part of the family — because ours is too. 🐾

Meet Maple — our sweet Aussie Doodle and the heart behind Tidy Tails. 🩷

Almost a year ago, we made the choice to start feeding her homemade meals with simple, real ingredients that work best for her body and our lifestyle.

Of course, this isn’t the only way to care for a dog — just the one that fits our home. And honestly? It brings us so much joy knowing exactly what’s going into her bowl. 🥩🥕🍳

That said, we know life gets busy. So we’ve found a few tricks to keep things practical and low-stress!

✨ Here’s one of our favorite homemade meal prep hacks for Maple:

👉 We bulk prep a mix of rice and sprouted oats (about 75% rice / 25% oats), scoop the mixture into single portions using a cookie scoop, and place the scoops on a pan to freeze. Once they’re frozen solid, we toss them in a Ziploc bag and store them in the freezer. Each week, we prep her meals for the week — and all we have to do is add a rice ball to each container. It thaws quickly and saves us so much time!

🔥☀️ It’s almost 100° out today, but that didn’t stop the Tidy Tails crew!

While most sane people were indoors enjoying AC and iced drinks, Reese and I were out there in the blazing sun, doing what we do best—scooping p**p like pros. 💩🐾

Sure, we were basically melting… but dogs don’t take the day off, and neither do we!

We may smell like sweat and sunshine, but our clients’ yards are clean, and our mission is still going strong. 💪

Hot weather? Bring it on. Stinky jobs? We got it. Tidy yard? You bet.

On Wednesdays, we scoop!

To make sure we don't miss a spot, we have our own little calculated routine. We split the yard and each take a side. Then we inspect the other side to ensure each part of the yard gets both eyes!
