Ashley is a 1 year old, spayed female pit bull mix. She is around 50-55lb. Ashley is a party girl and she LOVES to play! She is an excellent fetch or tug partner. If you're looking for a buddy to hike with she is your girl. She would love to do agility class! Ashley is extremely smart and will be fun to train with. She would do best with older kids due to her energy level.

One of our adopted dogs is MISSING in ROCHESTER NY! He went to work with his Dad and someone had cut a hole in the fence unbeknownst to them! Scrap slipped out and hasn't been seen since yesterday.

Ms. Vera Bradley headed to her furever home yesterday. She is now with a wonderful family who already thinks she is the cutest, funniest puppy every (which she is!). Congratulations on the good life Vera!!

Meet Vera Bradley!! The newest member of RAB came from a duffle bag in Poughkeepsie. One of our staff members was walking her foster and came across a man selling puppies out of a bag. We would like to send a serious thank you to our friends at Friends of the Richland County Dogs and our longtime friend Stacey for their $250 donation toward Cora's ACL surgery. They do SO MUCH for the dogs in Ohio and we really appreciate their efforts there for the shelter dogs! We love all our Ohio dogs who've come from there and through their very caring hands! You guys are awesome!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Miss Cora is healing up nicely - she has the very best nurse! Her Mom Jen reports she is getting better with each ice pack (four times a day for 15 minutes) and less nervous about the interaction. Recovery is normally tough but with a fearful dog it is even more difficult and her family is going above and beyond to make sure she heals well and as comfortably as she can.

We are still short on our goal for her surgery - please share our link to help Cora! Her surgery may be over but we still need to pay her surgical bill.
