Today we had a very special patient—Goldie, a sweet duck brought in by a kind Good Samaritan after getting a fish hook lodged in her cheek.
Thanks to quick action and compassionate care, we were able to safely remove the hook, and Goldie is now on the road to recovery! 🦆✨

We’re grateful to our community members who take the time to help wildlife in need—it truly makes a difference.

🎣 A friendly reminder to our summer fishermen:
Please remember to properly dispose of or remove all hooks and fishing gear before releasing fish back into our rivers and waterways. Leftover hooks can cause serious injury to birds and other wildlife.
