One more explosion of fireworks from Not This Time β€” sire of ArzakπŸš€ β€” before the ball drops on 2025, as Boutwell Time gets up in the last jump to win the $75,000 Mrs. Claus Stakes at Parx. In the process, Boutwell Time becomes her sire's 30th stakes winner of the calendar year β€” ranking him #1 by black-type winners among all North American stallions in 2025.

Not This Time also finishes the year as North America's:

#1 Sire of 2-Year-Olds by Progeny Earnings ($5.5 million)
#1 Sire of 2-year-old winners (40)
#1 Sire of 2-year-old stakes winners (9)
#1 Sire of 2-year-old black-type performers (16)
#1 Sire of Turf Runners by Progeny Earnings ($3.6 million)
#2 Sire in North America by Total Progeny Earnings ($23.9 million)
#3 Sire of All-Weather Runners by Progeny Earnings ($1.79 million)
#8 Sire of Dirt Runners by Progeny Earnings ($9.4 million)

The Amsterdam Two team is excited and honored to stand Arzak β€” New York's only son of Not This Time, and a millionaire/multiple Grade 2 winner/track record setter in his own right.

Please join us for an open house on January 10, or call Ken or Mike today about making your mare(s) a part of Arzak's large and stellar first book!

With a quartet of 2-year-old winners on Sunday β€” three in maiden special weight company and one vs. allowance foes β€” Not This Time (sire of Arzak πŸš€) extended his lead over Into Mischief in the race for 2025's Leading Sire of 2-year-olds by Progeny Earnings.

BloodHorse caught up with Jason Loutsch, racing manager for Albaugh Family Stables (who bred and owns a significant portion of Not This Time) to talk about the stallion's incredible 2025, his incredible versatility, and his chances at becoming a sire of sires with sons like Arzak, Epicenter and Up to the Mark poised to carry on his legacy.

Not This Boy shook off persistent pace pressure from Komorebino Omoide, then held off a late rail bid from Sir Greylind to score a game victory in the $100,000 Tenacious Stakes on Saturday at Fair Grounds.

"There isn't a stallion like Not This Time right now who can do it all: All the distances, all the age groups, [surfaces] β€” at almost an equal level of excellence. It's a rare combination." Those were some heady words from pedigree guru Sid Fernando, talking about the sire of Amsterdam Two's ArzakπŸš€, during a recent appearance on At the Races With Steve B*k.

We've linked the episode below β€” the discussion of Not This Time (aka "the sire of the moment") starts at the 14:25 mark and goes through 39:00. During the conversation, Fernando draws comparisons between Not This Time and the great Mr. Prospector, delves into the intricacies of Not This Time's pedigree (and how it was influenced by legendary Florida horsemen John Nerud and Harry Mangurian), and highlights the versatility of the Giant's Causeway/Storm Cat/Northern Dancer sireline from which Arzak descends.

There's also a fascinating detour into the way Not This Time's dam Miss Macy Sue is in**ed 3x4 to Ta Wee, the Hall of Fame race mare and two-time Champion Sprinter, and the way breeders often seek to reinvigorate a pedigree by doubling up on superior females.

To that end, it's worth noting Arzak's own pedigree includes such standout mares as Ta Wee, Ruby Slippers, Bending Strings, Miss Macy Sue, Mariah's Storm, Tap Your Heels, Terligua, Immense, Jealous Appeal, Preach, Christmas Wishes, Expressive Dance, Weekend Surprise, South Ocean, Glorious Song, Imsodear, Quick Dance and Broom Dance, among others, in his first five generations. If you've got a mare whose pedigree carries a separate strain of one of those world-class broodmares, it might be time to add her to Arzak's big and high-quality first book. Call Mike or Ken today to discuss!

If you’re wondering where ArzakπŸš€ gets his stunning physical from, look no further than his world-class sire, Not This Time.

Homebred Twohonestmischief broke his maiden in NY Bred MSW company Friday. This gelding had been knocking on the door running in the money 7 of his 8 starts as a 3yo prior to Friday. His win Friday boosted his lifetime earnings to $140,540 and with this kind of consistency we are excited to see what his future holds.

Congratulations to his connections!!

Not This Time β€” sire of our multiple Grade 2 winner ArzakπŸš€ β€” already has Leading Turf Sire of 2025 in the bag, but with 22 days of racing left on the calendar, he's also holding a slight edge over Into Mischief in the race for Leading Sire of 2-Year-Olds by Progeny Earnings.

Not This Time's remarkable stats with his 2023 foal crop also find him at No. 1 by number of 2-year-old winners (37), 2-year-old stakes winners (nine), and 2-year-old black-type performers (16).

Those numbers have the team at Amsterdam Two feeling incredibly proud (and incrediby bullish) to stand Arzak β€” New York's ONLY son of Not This Time. Call Ken or Mike today to talk about making your mare part of his quickly expanding first book!

Taylor Made Stallions' Not This Time has a slim $76,319 lead among the leading sires of 2-year-olds over Spendthrift Farm's Into Mischief as of Dec. 8.

With his win in the Grade 3 Cecil B. DeMille Stakes at Del Mar on Sunday, Unrivaled Time became the 27th individual stakes winner (14 of them graded) in 2025 for Not This Time β€” sire of Amsterdam Two's exciting new stallion prospect ArzakπŸš€.

Yes, our page has been a bit of a broken record the last few days, touting Not This Time's black-type winners on Friday (Magnitude), Saturday (On Time Girl) and Sunday (Unrivaled Time) β€” and that's not even counting In Our Time's runner-up effort yesterday in Del Mar's Grade 1 Matriarch Stakes. (Whew!)

Worth noting that Unrivaled Time is out of a mare by Creachadoir (IRE) β€” a grandson of Kingmambo. And Not This Time crossed with sons and grandsons of Kingmambo is proving to be a very potent source of stakes winners. From 12 foals of racing age bred on this cross (including a trio of unraced 2-year-olds), 8 of them are winners, with three of those winners scoring in black-type events: Unrivaled Time (G3), Way to Be Marie and Schwarzenegger.

That's a wicked 25% stakes winners from foals of racing age bred on the Not This Time-Kingmambo cross. Something to think about if you're a New York (or even Northeast) breeder with a daughter of Kingmambo, Lemon Drop Kid, Henrythenavigator, Kiss the Kid or Code West in your broodmare band, or if your mare has Kingmambo blood up close in her pedigree!

Not This Time's Unrivaled Time who survived an inquiry to take the Cecil B. DeMille at Del Mar netted his first stakes win
