Today we wrapped up our very first season of Playdates at The Little Farm and what an amazing 10 weeks it has been! 🌿🐐

Each week, the children gathered to learn, explore, and connect. We watched new friendships blossom, confidence grow, and beautiful memories take shape. From feeding animals to hands-on nature play, every moment brought something new to discover. 💛

We’re so grateful for every family who joined us this season and helped make it truly special.

We can’t wait for our Winter Season beginning in January! ❄️

On a beautiful day like today, a group of parents came together and created something truly special here on the farm. 🌿 In November 2023, The Little Farm Co-Op was born out of love, curiosity, and the desire to spend more time in nature. What started as a simple idea has grown into a beautiful community, one that has become part of our farm family. 💛

Two years later, we look around and see friendships, learning, laughter, and memories rooted in this space. Because of Co-Op, Playdates came to life, and we’re so excited to see where it grows from here.

We are endlessly grateful for every one of you who shows up, supports, grows, and creates magic here on the farm. ✨

🦋 Butterfly season in South Florida never really ends!
Our beautiful Atala butterfly reminds us that even as the weather cools, many butterflies stay active all year long here on the farm. 🌿✨ At The Little Farm, we love teaching about how nature keeps surprising us — every season has something new to discover. 🍃

Our friendly animals brought the farmyard to the classroom! Students learn what animals do on a farm, met some furry (and feathery!) friends, and discovered what life is like on the farm for our friendly farmers 🌾

🐷The Little Farm Playdates - a sub series of our Co-Op - is centered around a morning well spent on the farm and includes interactions with animals, our garden space, mindfulness practices, books, and plenty of free-play 🌱

⏰ We will meet from 9:30-11:30am

🗓️ You can choose from two sessions:

Mondays - January 5 to March 9

Wednesdays - January 7 to March 11

We have three 10 Week Sessions: Fall (September to November), Spring 1 (January to Mid March ), and Spring 2 (End of March to Early June)

Our enrolled children are between the ages of 2-4. Younger siblings are welcome to attend with their families 🤍

Meet Jerry the Donkey 🫏

Did you know donkeys like Jerry have super ears? Jerry uses his ears to tell us how he feels. When they’re straight up, he’s curious. When they flop to the side, he’s relaxed. And when they swivel like little radar dishes—watch out—he’s listening to everything at once!

Next time you see Jerry, give him a wave 👋 and watch those ears—he’ll probably be listening to YOU too.

🍂🎃 Fall Fun at The Little Farm! 🐐🍁

The kids are loving every minute of autumn at The Little Farm! From swinging on our tire swings, to exploring our hay maze and picking the perfect pumpkin in the patch, there’s been endless fun all around. 🍁✨

Every field trip to The Little Farm is more than a visit—it’s a full sensory experience. 🐰 Children feel the softness of a rabbit’s fur as they learn, hear the rooster crow from the barn, smell fresh herbs in the snacking garden, and see butterflies dancing through the garden. 🦋 These hands-on moments create learning that sticks, helping kids connect what they read in books or see on shows and movies, to the living, breathing world around them. 🌱

Who is ready for a bowling match? 🎳 Games, play, pumpkins, and hay - all located in our Playfield this weekend 🎃🌾

This week our Co-Op incubated colorful chicken eggs. 🥚 They learned all about chickens and their eggs, how long the gestation period is, and the optimal conditions for chicks to hatch. 🐣 We do this with multiple schools throughout the year, but this year is extra special as our very own students are doing this right at home on the farm. 🌿 We can’t wait to see these babies in 21 days! 🐥
