The last day of April 🌿

And somehow… we made it.

Through the mud that never ended.
Through frozen fingers and taps.
Through rugs on, rugs off, rugs on again because the weather was having an identity crisis.

Through the days you questioned everything.
Your riding.
Your confidence.
Your sanity

And now…

The grass is coming.
The evenings are stretching.
There’s a softness in the air again.

This is the bit we forget in winter.
That it does shift.
That we do come out the other side.

Not perfect.
Not suddenly elite athletes with immaculate plaits and matching sets…

But stronger.
Quieter.
A little more connected.

Because winter doesn’t just test us…
It builds us.

So if you’re standing at the yard today
listening to them munch,
feeling that tiny exhale in your chest…

That’s not nothing.

That’s you making it through.

Sadly someone dumped off very young cats on my road today. I picked up the ones that didn’t take off into the woods frightened. And I did try to catch the others. With no luck 😥they were all curled up together in the road as I came upon them with my truck. And they scurried away. We have five foot snow banks on the sides of the roads and it was hard for them to get out off the street. And one is white. Please folks if you know anyone looking for a young kitty call me as these two will absolutely be needing homes. They are very friendly and loving. And happy to be out of the snow. 3153789683.
