We want to share that Andy’s father, David, recently passed away.
While Andy didn’t have the opportunity to know him as well as he would have liked, it’s become very clear just how much they shared in common. From a lifelong passion for motorcycles, to their perspectives on life, and even their unmistakable sense of style-the similarities are undeniable. It’s safe to say the apple truly didn’t fall far from the tree… right down to both of them choosing a Samsung over an iPhone.
As we reflect, we’re grateful for the unexpected connections and pieces of David we’re getting to know through this time.
His obituary is below. Services will be held in Duncansville Thursday. The viewing will start at 1pm and the funeral at 3pm.
As we work through settling his father’s affairs, we will be busier than usual (which is typically quite busy 😬.) That said, all of the critters here at the farm are continuing to receive the same top-notch care they always do. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Today we take a moment at Five Star Powersports to remember a true member of our family, Dave Kelly.
To many of us, he was known as Dr. Dave, the Dirtbike Doctor, and even Davy Deals. No matter what you called him, if you needed help, advice, or just someone to point you in the right direction, Dave was your guy. And if you had a few extra minutes to spare, you might have been there a while, because once Dave got talking, you were guaranteed at least 30 minutes and probably learned something along the way.
Dave had a passion that was impossible to miss. Vintage motorcycles, rare parts, eBay finds, you name it, he knew it. You could ask him anything about a bike and he would not only have the answer, he would have a story to go with it. And somehow, those stories always kept you listening.
He had his routines too. Every morning, checking in, asking for the word of the day, sharing a laugh. Those little moments do not seem big at the time but mean everything now.
Dave was excited for retirement, but like any true parts guy, he was not ready to fully step away. He still wanted to be around, still wanted to help, still wanted to be part of it, and that says everything about the kind of person he was.
He made this place better. He made people better. And he will always be a part of Five Star.
Rest easy, Dave. We will keep the conversations going for you. ❤️
