One of our most Distinguished Country Club members, Sir Francis (that really is his name) who was a beautiful Great Pyrenees sadly just recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He reminded me of the Polar Bear on the old Coke Commercials…simply Majestical! Sir Francis had the aches and pains that go along with old age and his mother laid out Yoga Mats for him at home and here at the kennel so he could have something to “grip” on as he was going from laying to standing which was a brilliant idea! His mother wanted to make us a loving donation for taking such good care of him while he was here at the kennel and we decided to purchase some Yoga Mats for our more Senior Guests in Sir Francis’s honor!! Here is a picture of our very first guest, Oakley, using a mat in his kennel. We will miss Sir Francis but will think of him when we roll out those mats!

LOST DOG!!! This is one of our pups that boards with us and is missing since last night. He is super sweet, a little shy....just a big baby! Last seen at Waffle House/McDonald's across from College Park around 4:00-5:00 yesterday but with his long legs he could have traveled a bit. Please call one of the numbers in the post or Meridian Animal Control if you see him. His name is DURBAN 🙏

I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all the kind comments/reviews submitted yesterday!! I didn't mention this but yesterday was Tommy's Birthday and when I asked him what he wanted he said...nothing, I don't need a thing. So...that's when I decided to ask for REVIEWS for his Birthday Gift! He works so VERY HARD at the kennel to keep everything up and running and clean and sanitized as well as taking time with and loving on all your pups when they are in our care!! So...when he was reading all your kind words all day long yesterday it made his Birthday EXTRA special!!!🎂

That's what we kept hearing from our customers when we told them we were fully booked! So, what did we do...We added 10 more kennels!!!!! We realized that a lot of people have more than 1 dog so we designed these larger kennels to better accommodate families with multiple dogs. We began this process in March and the new addition was up and ready for Memorial Day weekend! We've been booked and busy ever since! Here is a look into some of the fun we have been having since expanding!

ONCE UPON A TIME…there was a husband and wife who wanted to open a dog kennel. They cleared the land, built the kennel and laid beautiful grass for all the pups that would come stay with them to play on. After a few months of frisbee playing and ball throwing the grass didn’t look so beautiful anymore. What were they to do? When the sky decided to rain the muddy yard was a huge mess and the husband and wife worked tirelessly to make sure that the pups and their bedding didn’t go home dirty. A solution had to be found. After much research they discovered their answer….K9 Astro Turf!!!

The husband and wife are very happy with their solution and know that the pups that come to stay and play at the kennel will enjoy it as well🐶🐾
