💔 RESCUE NEEDED FOR ABIGAIL SHE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE

This sweet girl’s name is Abigail, and she came into our care in heartbreaking condition. You can see every rib, every hip bone, and every sign of the difficult life she’s endured. She didn’t become this thin overnight. Somewhere along the way, she was failed by people who should have cared for her. Yet through it all, Abigail still has a gentle spirit and a quiet hope in her eyes.

Right now, Abigail is safe. She has food, water, and a warm place to rest. She is already eating well and slowly beginning her journey toward recovery. But what she truly needs is a rescue, foster, or forever home where she can continue healing physically and emotionally.

Dogs like Abigail need more than temporary shelter they need someone willing to show them patience, compassion, and love. We truly believe that with the right care, Abigail can make an amazing transformation and become someone’s loyal best friend.

Abigail will also need veterinary care as she continues to recover. If you would like to help with her medical expenses, donations can be made directly to:

Zulu’s story could have ended on the side of the road… skin and bones, covered in sores, injured, scared, and unsure if he could trust anyone. When this sweet woman found him, he was in terrible shape and very standoffish — the kind of fear you only see in animals that have been through more than they should ever have to endure.

She contacted us about him, but from the very beginning you could tell her heart was already invested in helping this dog heal. Day by day, Zulu slowly started realizing not every human was going to hurt him. Underneath all the fear was a sweet soul that just needed patience, kindness, and somebody willing to fight for him.

Today, instead of becoming another forgotten stray, Zulu has a future. This amazing woman took the initiative to not only help save his life, but to give him a home of his very own if no owner came forward. Stories like this remind us there are still good people in this world willing to step up when an animal needs them most.

We’re also thankful Zulu was healthy enough for us to move forward with getting him neutered, and a huge thank you goes to Collinsville Veterinary Clinic for helping make that possible and for always supporting the animals in our community.

Sometimes rescue doesn’t look glamorous. Sometimes it looks like a scared dog on the side of the road and somebody deciding to stop and care. And because of that decision, Zulu gets a second chance. ❤️
