Looking for a new home 💜
Bella is about 4 years old, spayed, microchipped, and house trained.
She loves going on walks, car rides, and simply spending time with and cuddling with her person. She also loves squeaky toys and will make you laugh the way she plays with them.
She is looking for a home with no cats or small children.
Needing to be rehomed due to no fault of her own.

Slushie just joined the colony room, and sweet Fez was the first to welcome him! 💕 It didn’t take long for these two to start sharing curious sniffs and cozy vibes.

Amazing!! Thank you!
Thanks to your generosity, this year we raised over $7,000 for the Dunn County Humane Society!
🎃 We want to thank everyone who came out to walk the trail this year, and spend some time celebrating the spooky season with us.
🖤 We also want to thank all the volunteers who spent a couple hours of their Friday and/or Saturday nights hiding in the dark woods, scaring folks who walked the trail. (My favorite part of the season is hearing the bloodcurdling screams drifting from the forest.)
👻 A big thanks to Lewis Bjork Plumbing for providing a port-a-potty! It sure comes in handy so not as many people p*e their pants on the trail...
🐈⬛ We are truly grateful to the kind supporters who agreed to match the funds raised this year. So that means all your $5 donations, turns into $10 donations... bringing our total from over $7,000 to over $14,000!!!
🧡 We also want to thank Kayla (and her family) for all the time, work, effort and money that she puts into making this event so fun and successful. Her spooky visions are so much fun to bring to life... we can't wait until next year!

We took in a large number of small breed dogs last night, including several nursing mamas with puppies, and we are in urgent need of help from our community!
We’re currently looking for:
🏠 Puppy fosters: experienced, safe, quiet homes to care for moms and their newborn pups until they’re ready for adoption. We provide all supplies and support while you provide the love and space!
Donations can be dropped off any day of the week between 8 AM and 6 PM, or sent to:

Meet Tate (grey) and Ronnie (black)! 💕
You may notice that Ronnie looks a little different… that’s because this sweet boy had to have both of his eyes removed. He’s feeling so much better now, and it hasn’t slowed him down one bit! Ronnie is outgoing, loving, and full of life.
Now, you might think these two are bonded so Ronnie can get help finding his way around… but it’s actually the opposite! Tate is the one who gets anxious without Ronnie nearby. He’s her emotional support friend. 🥹
These two share such a special bond, and they’re ready to share it with a family of their own. Could you be the one to give them the loving home they deserve? 🏡💖

Tiki was adopted on December, 31 2024 after 2 weeks at the shelter. Here's what his owner had to say!
“He has been a confident boy from the start but after a few months he really started letting his full goofy self shine. He is such a chatty, playful, fun loving boy, he makes us laugh everyday. He loves to play in his tunnel, chatter at the neighborhood birds, and do his morning zoomies. He also loves a good cuddle and will always find his way onto our laps.
The best part of our day is coming home to him greeting us at the door.
He has been the perfect addition to our family and we can’t imagine life without him. Thank you for all the work you do and helping us adopt our sweet boy!”

The Dunn County Humane Society was formed in response to an act of cruelty which resulted in the death of Flash, a four-year-old Basset Hound. It is committed to the prevention of animal suffering in his memory. The Society was chartered in December 1993 by the State of Wisconsin as a nonprofit organization.
