The dogs make the hunt. It’s cool pulling down that group of a dozen mallards that finishes in your face. But the icing on the cake is watching that dog you put so much work into all summer long go out and pick up the two you splashed in the decoys and then run a perfect blind on the third bird that sailed. All without you ever leaving the comfort of your blind. That is why the dogs are in every hunt picture we take and they always will be.

Felt weird to be the "Dog Guy" and not have one of mine on this hunt. Had a great time watching these dogs work and sharing a blind with Tony and River who worked with us all this past year to get her ready for her first season. The hard work has paid off. Congrats!
