Our May Team Spotlight is dedicated to Charee!

Charee is retiring at the end of the month, and we’re proud to celebrate her career and the impact she made during her time with us at Leedstone. With more free time in her retirement, she plans to spend more time with her husband of 38 years (Paul), her children (Isaac and Aimee), and her grandchildren (Lennon, Zander, & Macklin). They hope to spend most of summer at their lake cabin, where she said, “I’ll be able to get my 4-mile walk in every day!”

Project Highlight: Arctic View Dairy!

We recently shared with you the Halderson family from Galesville, WI began installing a GEA 40-stall rotary milking system, complete with milk cooling equipment, gates, curtains, and more. We’re happy to announce, this project is near completion!

We have finished installing a DC Pro Mini washer, FutureCow sprayer, vacuum pumps, and this farm is one of the first in the country to install GEA DigiTron Detachers! We’re excited to be a part of this great project. Watch for our final post of this series when installation is officially complete!

Congratulations to the Ransom family from Annandale, MN! Their dairy recently worked with Leedstone to do a multi-faceted upgrade in their parlor.

First, they installed a new water treatment system in their utility room, including a water softener and peroxide pump system (to replace the old system with an iron filter). Next, they replaced old pulsators with a new Beco pulsator system in their swing 14 parlor and upgraded to 14 new Beco FlowNexus detachers and controls.

Along with these updates, they installed VES-Artex ceiling fans and under-the-splash-pan tube lighting to improve visibility of the udders. They’ve told us they love their new equipment!
