Good Morning,

We had every intention of sharing this exciting news sooner; however, life has taken us in a very difficult direction these past several weeks. Since Easter Sunday, my mom suffered a series of TIAs followed by a major event last week. We said our goodbyes on Monday and will be laying her to rest tomorrow. Our sincere apologies to the expecting puppy parents for the reduced communication during this time.

That said, Luna was officially confirmed pregnant a couple of weeks ago, and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the litter around June 17th. She continues to get more beautiful every day, and her coat is unbelievably soft. The photo of her was taken this morning, and her expression almost seems to reflect some of the emotion and heaviness our household has experienced recently. These dogs are truly among the most emotionally intuitive companions on earth, and we are incredibly grateful for the comfort and support they’ve provided over the last month.

We also want to sincerely thank all of you for your continued support, patience, and kindness during this time. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

Good evening, everyone; just a quick update for our prospective puppy parents.

We’ve been fairly quiet on Facebook lately, but that certainly doesn’t mean we’ve been idle. Luna and Marla’s cycles should be starting any time now, and we’re seeing more of the typical early signs—both girls have been extra clingy, a bit testy with each other, and increasingly flirtatious with Cooper.

As always, we’ll keep everyone posted as things progress. Once Day 1 of the cycle begins, we’re typically able to narrow down estimated take-home timing within just a few days.

A special family reunion in Colorado.

R***r, from Marla and Cooper’s last litter, recently traveled with Mollie and Mike Gronseth to visit family in Breckenridge, Colorado. While there, R***r got to spend time with Bunker — who lives with Mollie’s sister Carin and her husband Bill.

The fun connection is that Bunker is Marla’s brother and her littermate, making this a pretty special family get-together. Seeing dogs from the same lines connect years later in homes that love them just as much as we do is something we never take for granted.

Good morning,

Here are a couple of photos of Mike and Mollie’s handsome boy, R***r (blue collar).

Mollie describes him as smart, affectionate, and full of energy, and we couldn’t agree more. It brings us so much joy to see him thriving and growing up in such a wonderful, loving home.

Donaldson Family Update! ✨

Bella and her brother Lois are settling in beautifully with the Donaldson family! These two girls are already showing the hallmark Sylvia Shores temperament, curious, confident, and full of love.

From their very first snowy adventure, it’s clear these pups are going to be right at home with their new family. Bella is as attentive as ever, while brother Louis everyone smiling with her playful spirit.

We’re so grateful to the Donaldson family for giving these girls such a wonderful forever home. Watching our puppies thrive with families like yours is exactly why we do what we do.

🌊 First Swim of the Year! 🐾

The girls made the most of today’s beautiful weather with their first splash of the season — and they were all smiles! ☀️💦

Bailey is currently wrapping up her second heat cycle, so we’re expecting the others to follow in the coming weeks. Things are moving right along here at Labradors of Sylvia Shores, and we’ll be sure to keep our hopeful families posted every step of the way.

Good Morning,
There’s nothing sweeter than seeing our puppies settle into their new homes, and Louis and Bella are already making themselves completely at home with the Donaldson family 🤍

From cozy nap piles to snuggles with their favorite toys, these two are showing exactly why we focus so much on early temperament, confidence, and a loving start. Watching them relax, bond, and begin this next chapter is what makes everything worthwhile.

Good morning!

Helene Matzke shared this beautiful photo of Kona with us, and we just had to show her off. Kona will be two years old this May and is a proud daughter of Luna and Cooper. She carries so much of Luna’s classic look, paired with incredible muscle tone and athleticism — a wonderful reflection of the thoughtful breeding and loving home behind her. Thank you, Helene, for the update… she is absolutely stunning!
