us a message as soon as you can!! We are here for the animals of the Eastern Shore, so help us spread the word to get the lost found or the found back home, or just the homeless in loving homes!! It has been brought to our attention that our hours may be a little confusing to some. We are open for INTAKE Tuesday - Friday 12noon-4pm and Saturday from 9am-12noon. For ANIMAL VISITATION, ADOPTION, and RECLAIM of your pet we are open by appointment and do our best to accommodate all schedules! Thank you!

✨✨Our longest cat residents✨✨

Looking for love with a little personality? 💕 Meet Mess and French Kiss!

🐾 Mess is confident, outgoing, and obsessed with attention (and Churu treats!). She’s the kind of kitty who wants to be right by your side and would love a family to call her own.

🐾 French Kiss is more of a slow-burn sweetheart. She’s settling in nicely, loves Temptations treats, and enjoys pets, especially head rubs! She’s not a lap cat yet, but she’s made amazing progress in just a week and continues to come out of her shell every day.

If you’re thinking about adding a kitty to your home, please consider giving one (or both!) of these girls a chance. They have so much love to give 🐱💗

They are thriving in foster care with No Limits Eastern Shore

All adoptions are sponsored by Friends of Animal Control Eastern Shore. FACES and spay vouchers for $150 each.

🌟 Cinnamon: The Little Dog With the Biggest Comeback 🌟

When Cinnamon first arrived at our shelter back in June of 2025, she was just a 6‑month‑old puppy—tiny, squatty, and full of potential. But her body told a different story. She came to us with severe mange, the result of long-term inadequate care. We fought for her in court, and we won. Cinnamon finally had a chance to start over.

We thought she’d be adopted quickly. After all, who could resist a 35‑lb bully mix with cinnamon‑swirl coloring and a heart ready to bloom? But days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. No one came. Not yet.

Thankfully, Cinnamon didn’t have to wait alone.

One of our incredible fosters stepped up—an angel with patience, grit, and a heart big enough to hold all the pieces Cinnamon didn’t know how to put together. Because Cinnamon wasn’t just healing from mange. She was healing from a puppyhood without guidance, without socialization, without the chance to learn how to simply be a dog.

And so the work began.

Cinnamon learned how to trust hands that reached toward her.
How to rest in a crate and feel safe.
How to live in a home and be house trained.
How to meet other dogs slowly, gently, with structure and reassurance.

She’s dog-friendly, but because she never had proper introductions as a puppy, she’s still learning the social dance. With the help of her foster and a trainer, she’s making steady progress—but for now, she’ll thrive best as the only dog in the home, with patient meet-and-greets as she continues to grow.

Today, Cinnamon is spayed, heartworm negative, crate trained, house trained, and ready for adventure. She’d love an active family and would absolutely shine with a fenced yard to explore. She can even cross state lines to find her perfect match.

✨ Six months. That’s how long she’s been waiting.
Six months of learning, healing, and hoping.
Six months of becoming the dog she was always meant to be.

Now she just needs someone to see her.

Someone who believes in second chances.
Someone who understands that the best dogs are often the ones who had to fight the hardest to bloom.
Someone who will give her the forever she’s been dreaming of.

Cinnamon is ready.
She’s done the work.
She’s waited long enough.

💛 If you think her forever might be with you, reach out. Cinnamon’s story deserves a beautiful next chapter—and you could be the one to write it.

A radiant friend named Apple Crisp is longing for a forever home where he can shine. After two months in foster care with no adoption applications, his temporary haven is coming to an end, and he'll have to return to the shelter.

Apple Crisp flourishes in a serene environment without young children, and his heart beats for a companion cat or dog to snuggle with. He is FIV/FLV negative and friendly towards dogs and cats. When Apple Crisp first arrived, fear overshadowed his sparkle, causing him to hide, but after finding solace in his foster home, his vibrant personality has blossomed, revealing a lively companion full of affection.

All adoptions are sponsored by Friends of Animal Control Eastern Shore. FACES and a $100 voucher for his neuter.

🌸 Meet Cupcake — a survivor who deserves a couch to call her own. 🌸

For the first two years of her life, Cupcake knew only the weight of a ratchet strap and a fraying rope. (picture attached) This gentle Lab/Pit mix grew up chained outside in the elements with no real shelter, no soft place to rest, and no chance to stretch her legs the way a growing puppy should. Her body shows the story she couldn’t tell — her legs are hunched from years of restricted movement, her muscles never given the chance to develop normally. She was tied to a tree and forced to live outside after she was no longer a cute 3 month old puppy.

But here’s what makes Cupcake extraordinary: despite everything she’s endured, she is soft. She is hopeful. She is ready.

Cupcake has never known the comfort of being inside a home, the warmth of a blanket, or the simple joy of choosing where to lay her head. Even in our kennels she hasn't acclimated to our beds, instead choosing to rest on the floor most days.

Cupcake is safe with us, finally unchained — and she’s looking for a family who will help her discover the world she’s been denied. A home where she can learn what it feels like to be loved, protected, and cherished. A place where she can heal at her own pace and blossom into the dog she was always meant to be.

If you have room in your heart and home for a truly special soul, Cupcake is waiting.

✨ Let’s give this girl the life she’s always deserved.
