We design, build, and deliver enrichment devices to zoos/aquariums that have animals in human care, utilizing technology and advanced engineering. Most zoos and aquariums are privately owned not-for-profits or rely on donations/memberships to supplement their limited budgets. Animal Enrichment Systems builds these devices at no cost to the facilities. You can help by donating to help us continue to provide safe, quality enrichment that the animals need and enjoy!

We went to Central Florida Zoo on May 19 to make a quick repair to the black bear environmental enrichment device. We appreciate how well the staff at CFZ takes care of the EED, this was a simple fix (replacing a plastic part with a metal/stronger part!!) Thank you keeper, Carly!

Don is building an enrichment device that will be set on a random timer to scatter zoo approved food to the black bears. This is very similar to the EED that he built and donated to BrevardZoo.

We tested how far food will scatter; the result was 11 ft! The blower and components will be safely housed in a custom-made box with a door.
