Thankful for the sunshine!!! Getting chick box groups together and am wondering… one big waffle? Or a couple different ones? I’ll have out right chick boxes as well.

I just need to purchase a bunch to get everyone back in good living conditions, but also want to make sure I’m offering what you guys need🫶

Everyone is a little muddy, crusty, but we’re working on it! I’ll go through chicks tomorrow and possible do a waffle or two. Anyone that’s been out in the stress and mess will stay until I can confirm good well being. Thank you all for reaching out and checking in on us! Gotta love nature🤪🌧️

Help me make a list of what to do after the water settles…

1. Ammonia
2. Barn lime
3. Mulch
4 h**p for in coops
5. Permethrin and elector saturation
6. Toltrazuril/dewormer/mite treatment in waterers
7. Healthy hearty protein packed food??

We will need to rebuild in some areas and move things around a good bit in attempt to avoid future drownings.

Thankfully we haven’t lost anyone else since this mornings rescue. 6 mottled hens and 2 c**k birds inside nice and toasty.

It can stop raining now🫣

Florida here.. had no clue we were to expect flooding also.. but here we are! My mottled pen is struggling bad. I’m not sure how many will make it, but we definitely lost 2. They were in a foot of water, so while they have a raised coop, it wasn’t enough. Also the low spot in the yard. Blue cream is next to them and also were half under, but I moved them to a higher spot and they seem to be good. Birds inside, under heat. This is crazy!
