Monet is going home and his tank is being used for this new guy! He is labeled as a dragonscale betta, so he looks like he'll have either a green or pink shine. He just needs a name :)

He's had very very terribly clamped fins and slight sinking issues and he looked so pathetic I just had to take him.

Mr Pickles the office fish was given a larger tank and is doing much better now! He is not adoptable, he's being cared for and then returned to his owner along with the improved tank he's now living in! He has a virus that I've been working on helping him fight and he seems to be winning.

The first picture is his original home, the others are his first day in the new one!

He's doing much better now! He was moved to a 10 gallon and his virus is slowly going away!

Got this fish delivered to me and found out he's been living exactly how the tank is in the picture and I'm so mad, he's not even having swimming issues so why is his water an inch deep???

I'll probably have to give him back to the owner because he's an "office fish" but I genuinely don't want to because this tank is the "upgrade" after they asked for my advice and I told them what he'd need.

‼️ADOPTABLE FISH‼️
Monet is ready to go to a new home! His fin rot is gone and his fins are regrowing. Located in Brevard County, Florida and willing to meet with him.

He will need a 5-10 gallon tank with a low flow sponge filter, a heater, and live plants to give him plenty of hiding spots. (NO fake plants, his fins are too delicate and will tear again). If you are interested, message me with a picture of the tank setup he'd be going into!

He has not flared or acted aggressive towards neighboring tanks, but I'm not sure how he'd do with any other snails or shrimp in the tank. NO other fish, especially Bettas.

Meet Picasso! I got him from PetSmart on the 10th with severe bloating and swim bladder disease. He was stuck floating on his side with clamped fins and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't swim down.

I wasn't sure he'd make it and was checking for dropsy. I medicated him but he was stuck floating on his side for 3 days, then on day 4 he was able to sit at a normal orientation. On day 5, he was swimming normally but then relapsed. On day 6, he was swimming normally again and hasn't relapsed since!

Picasso will be available for adoption in a week!

Meet Monet! This guy was also adopted from PetSmart on the 10th with sinking issues and fin rot. Notice the clamped fins in the last photo, that is a HUGE sign of stress and pain, so be sure to watch for that in your own fish.

The sinking was better as soon as I got him into warm water and now I just need to get the fin rot handled, it's a slow process.

Monet will also be available for adoption, date TBD because I am still dealing with the fin rot.

Help me name the two new intakes!

One has really bad swim bladder issues and has been floating on his side through the night but was able to swim downwards today.

The other had issues with sinking and fin rot, his sinking was fixed as soon as he got into clean, warm water so now it's just treating the fin rot.

We do not charge adoption fees, but do really appreciate donations to a) financially recover from the 3 rescue tanks + meds + fish and b) be able to get more fish in the rescue once the current residents are healed and adopted out
