Fuzzy Hearts Rabbitry Sales Policy
Thank you for your interest in a rabbit from Fuzzy Hearts Rabbitry. Our goal is to raise healthy, well-socialized rabbits and place them in safe, loving homes.
Reservations & Deposits
* A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the purchase price is required to reserve a rabbit.
* Rabbits are not considered on hold until a deposit has been received.
* Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price.
* The remaining balance is due at pickup.
* Rabbits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis until a deposit is received.
Payments & Refunds
* All sales are final.
* No refunds will be given if the buyer changes their mind for any reason.
* Deposits are non-refundable.
* No refunds will be issued due to allergies, housing restrictions, family circumstances, lack of preparation, or any other change in the buyer’s situation.
* If a rabbit becomes unavailable due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances while in our care, the buyer may transfer their deposit to another available rabbit or receive a refund of the deposit.
Health Guarantee
* Rabbits are sold healthy and free of known illness at the time of sale.
* Buyers are encouraged to inspect their rabbit before taking it home.
* Once a rabbit leaves our care, we cannot guarantee its health due to stress, environmental changes, diet changes, and care provided by the new owner.
* We are not responsible for veterinary expenses incurred after pickup.
Age at Pickup
* Rabbits will not leave for their new homes before 8 weeks of age.
* We reserve the right to keep a rabbit longer if necessary for health, growth, or development.
Buyer Responsibilities
* Buyers agree to provide proper housing, nutrition, fresh water, veterinary care, and daily attention.
* Rabbits should be protected from extreme temperatures, predators, and unsafe conditions.
* Buyers are responsible for researching and understanding rabbit care before purchase.
Returns
* If at any point you can no longer keep your rabbit, please contact us first.
* We will gladly assist in rehoming or accept the rabbit back when possible.
* No refunds will be given for returned rabbits.
* Rabbits may not be released outdoors or surrendered to a shelter without first contacting us.
Breeding Rights
* Pet-quality rabbits are sold as pets unless otherwise agreed upon.
* Breeding rights may be available on select rabbits for an additional fee.
* We reserve the right to refuse breeding sales.
Right to Refuse Sale
* Fuzzy Hearts Rabbitry reserves the right to refuse a sale at any time if we feel a rabbit is not being placed in an appropriate home.
* The health, safety, and welfare of our rabbits will always come first.
Agreement
By placing a deposit or purchasing a rabbit from Fuzzy Hearts Rabbitry, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this sales policy.
