A great night for roasting! The boys made a fire and roasted some marshmallows. Rammer the got managed to get his nose in one.

With the ongoing government shutdown, we know many families are feeling the impact — especially those missing paychecks or experiencing disruptions to SNAP benefits.

We want to do what we can to support our community during this time.

We have a few things available for anyone in need, no questions asked:

Homeschooling never looked (or smelled!) so good 😋
�Mondays are usually for bread baking, but today we switched it up and made yummy blueberry muffins and bread! They turned out delicious! 🫐🧁

Along with baking, we worked on reading, writing & dove into a fun science lesson all about spiders! 🕷️
�FUN FACT: Did you know scientists are studying spider silk to create bulletproof vests?!

The kids love our farm fresh chickens. I wasn’t able to get any pictures of everyone helping harvest and process the birds but now a couple days later they get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Anyone else use their crockpot as a multipurpose tool this time of year?

Between evening sports and cooler days, ours has been working overtime!

It keeps the house warm, fills it with delicious smells, and we have a yummy meal waiting after a long evening out.

Today we tossed a chuck roast in with fresh herbs and veggies straight from the garden. We’ll serve it over rice and bada bing, bada boom—dinner is served!

We spent the day gathering the last of this season's bounty — cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and even some pumpkins! It's amazing how the garden is still providing for us, even as the season winds down.

We’re so grateful for this land, the resources, and the strength to keep it growing.
