Please donate to help the cats in need.. 😿🐈🐈⬛
Our friend Ronda contacted me that she had 4 kittens at her flower shop and sent pictures. One of the girls that lives on the streets in Camden took these kittens from a mom cat to sell for drugs. Luckily she went to Rhonda who had to give her something to get the kittens so they would be safe. These kittens were too young to be without their mom and needed bottle feedings. Ronda asked her daughter to go out to get formula and they bottle fed the kittens. 😻❤️
About an hour later I got a call from my friend Marisol (who retired from working for the city) that she was talking to Camden Public Works employees cleaning a lot. They told her they were clearing an ally & yard that morning and found a black mom cat with 5 kittens (2 tabby’s, 2 blk, 1 white with dark spots) and tried to cover them for protection till they could find help and return that afternoon.
They were a couple blocks from where Ronda had gotten kittens the same age & description. I asked for a picture and saw it was the same kittens. Right after Public Works left the area that girl was in the ally and took the litter of kittens. 😡
I went that afternoon to look for mom but the crew was back clearing the yard and no kittens were there. The loud noises and trash truck had scared mom cat into hiding. 😿
I had exchanged numbers with the employee who talked to Marisol earlier and he called me that night to say they stayed late to finish so they wouldn’t be going there in the morning so I can look for mom cat. 🙏🏻
I went the next morning and walked around calling & calling for the cats. I was told by 4 people walking through the ally that there’s usually 4-5 cats around.
They were all probably scared off by the noise and clearing of trash they were living in. 😿💔
One girl told me she might know who had the kittens. I told her I know who has them. (She’s probably the one that took them)! Another girl told me a girl took the whole litter of kittens and she found one in the street on Federal St and took it to the fire house (who called Animal Control to pick it up) cus she’s in the streets & knows she can’t take care of it. I thanked her and told her she did the right thing. 😇
I finally saw a tabby/co cat peeking under a fence I offered her some food and in a lil while she peeked out to eat it. I tried to look at her belly to see if she was pregnant or nursing but she kept running back in the yard & I could only look through small openings in the fence. After almost an hour walking around & calling her & playing kitten crying sounds I didn’t see the black mom cat.
I tried to trap the tabby/co because I thought mom cat wasn’t coming around. She went in the trap a lil for wet food but backed out. Then suddenly blk mom cat showed up coming out a yard but quickly ran behind another fence into the yard where the other cat was.
I reset food in the trap, she came out walked around it smelling the food & pawing at the trap. The tabby/co was peeking out but saw me and I gave her the eye not to go in.. lol
Mom cat went in & out then back in eating the lil trail of wet food till the door closed as I stood out of sight praying to God to help me save her cause her babies needed her. 🙏🏻😻🐈⬛🐾❤️
Thank you Lord for always answering my trapping prayers. 🙏🏻❤️😺🪤
I took mom cat to the flower shop to see her babies so she wud know they were safe. 😻🐈⬛🐈
Omg the kittens were so excited to see their mom even though mom was nervous. They were meowing (talking to her) and climbing out the fluffy bed trying to get to her. 🥰 We had to wait for Animal Control to come pick them all up so the kittens got some formula to fill their belly’s and settle them down while we waited.
The AC officer that came was our friend Monica. She had also been the one that picked up the kitten found in the street and was taken to the fire station. That kitten went into foster care with the shelter to be bottle fed.
We’re hoping this family can be reunited but sometimes a foster can’t take on so many.. 😢🐈⬛🐈🐾
So I wish them well and glad they’re not in that ally with drugs and trash. 🙏🏻
Thank you to our friend Ronda who always steps up for cats & the community. She host events for the kids in the neighborhood and feeds cats all year round. Takes in kittens when they are dumped and has the biggest heart. ♥️
Please help me by donating to reimburse Ronda and help us feed cats in the neighborhood.
I can’t do this without your support and love for the cats in need. Pray for my safety to. 🙏🏻
