Our thick queen, Backhoe Betty, is still waiting for someone to take a chance on her. We scooped Betty from ACCT Philly back in October of 2025. When Betty first arrived in our care, she was extremely shut down and defensive. Her foster mom believed in her.

With a great deal of patience, time and a little help from a SRRI, Betty is THRIVING in foster care. She's a whole new cat. She even if getting along well with the resident cats.

Welcome Sammy 🩵

Sammy is a 5 month old sweetheart of a puppy who recently found herself wandering the streets of Philadelphia alone. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan brought her to ACCT Philly where this tiny potato immediately stole our hearts. One look at her squishy little face and we knew we had to bring her into the rescue.

Like so many puppies who end up in this situation, Sammy has been a little timid while she figures everything out. Right now she’s decompressing in foster care, soaking up love and learning that she’s finally safe. We have a feeling it won’t be long before the full puppy chaos starts to shine through!

We cannot wait to watch this sweet girl grow up, gain confidence, and absolutely thrive.

No one can nap quite like Clementine. 💤

This sweet girl came to us from ACCT Philly after being found in a park with her two puppies. While her babies have been adopted, now it’s finally Clem’s turn to be spoiled and trust us, her foster family has understood the assignment.

Clementine is the perfect mix of couch potato and adventure buddy. She’s always down for a walk, a car ride, or a lazy afternoon snuggled on the couch. She’s never met a stranger and greets everyone like an old friend.

Clem does like being the star of the show though, so she’s looking for a home where she can be the only pet and soak up all the attention she deserves. ❤️

Welcome Shazam! ⚡️

Or should we say… Sham-wow? 😂 This scruffy little guy just joined our rescue from ACCT Philly and his foster family says he looks more like a walking mop than a dog….we see it.

Shazam was found as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past, but we do know he’s young (around a year old), super friendly, goofy, and gets along great with other dogs. His first step is a much-needed grooming to get this mop cleaned up 🛁 and he’ll also be neutered soon!

He’s already winning everyone over with his silly personality and adorable scruff, and we can’t wait to watch him shine.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🐷

Piglet, our resident snorting piggie, is finally ready to find her forever home! We pulled this sweet girl from ACCT Philly after she landed there as a stray, and thanks to an amazing foster family stepping up, Piglet got the care she desperately needed.

Since entering foster care, Piglet has had airway surgery, been spayed, and received treatment for chronic ear infections. We are so happy to say her healing has been going wonderfully and she’s feeling better every day!

Piglet is sweet, goofy, and full of personality. She’s currently fostered with other dogs and cats and has done great with kids too!
