Welcome Zula ❤️

One look at Zula's shelter intake photo was all it took.

When she arrived at ACCT Philly as a stray, she sat quietly in her kennel looking completely defeated and wondering how she ended up there.

Her foster saw that photo and immediately knew she had to help.

Zula is a gorgeous low-riding mama who was still lactating when she entered the shelter…. a reminder that not long ago she was busy caring for puppies of her own. While we don't know what happened to bring her to the shelter, we do know the love that she deserves.

Yesterday, we busted this beautiful girl out of ACCT Philly and into a foster home where she can finally relax, decompress, and remember what it feels like to be loved.

She's still settling in, but we can't wait to get to know the real Zula as her personality starts to shine through. We have a feeling this sweet mama has a lot of happy days ahead of her.

It’s raining kittens! 🐱🌧️

In classic kitten season fashion, we are officially running out of room under our umbrella! We have kittens of many ages, both genders, and different colors who are ready to find their forever homes and bring a little sunshine into your life ☀️

Please keep in mind: Because kittens thrive with a buddy, they must either be adopted in pairs or go to a home that already has a young, playful resident cat to keep them company!

Welcome Tater Tot, Mango, and Goldie! 🧡

Three orange kittens = triple the trouble (and triple the cuteness)! These 3-month-old babies were found outside and brought to ACCT Philly before landing in our foster care.

They are currently learning that humans aren't so scary! Their foster is doing an amazing job socializing them. They’re still a bit skittish but doing great. They are obsessed with each other, play like little rascals, and have mastered the litter box.

Adopt them as a trio, a pair, or solo (singleton adoptions require another young, playful cat in the home)!

We posted our sweet girl, Moxy yesterday and what we got… crickets 🦗

We had to break the news to her this morning, and we were immediately hit with the most dramatic, heartbreaking puppy dog eyes in existence. How is this snuggly, low-maintenance queen still waiting?!

Moxy is looking for a quiet, low-traffic palace where she can rule over the sofa. She’s on the timid side so a home without young children will suit her best. She had good dog meets at the shelter and seems cat tolerant!

If you ever wonder what your support looks like in action, please feast your eyes on Wilbur’s healthy new look! 😍

It’s hard to believe the wonderfully chubby boy chilling on the couch and dipping his toes in the water is the same dog we scooped from ACCT Philly a few months ago. Wilbur went from being emaciated and fighting for his life in the hospital to living the absolute dream.

Transformations like Wilbur’s are exactly why we do this work but we can only say “yes” to these difficult cases when our village stands behind us.
