Announcing some EXTRA special adoptions!

✨Louise - 13 year old pittie mix who was on death’s door when we pulled her from ACCT. Her foster mom, PennVet, and Art City took the BEST care of her and then an amazing family fell in love with her!

Senior dogs are some of the most overlooked animals at the shelter. We feel so lucky to not only have saved her life but also found her the perfect home.

✨Push - 5 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix born with a hind limb deformity which required surgical intervention. He is recovering well and walking great! We can’t thank his foster family enough for taking care of him and are grateful a wonderful family adopted him despite his special needs!

✨Parsnip Pie - 4 year old Persian who was found as a stray in Philly covered in mats, fleas, flea dirt and excrement. An experienced and loving foster got her cleaned up and found her the perfect home!
