Good morning friends! I’m back in the shop today catching up on reschedules from last week. I took some personal time to be with my family from out of state.
I will answer every text message after I’m done with physical work today. Thank you all for allowing me the grace too take a little extra time as always.
I also haven’t had time to answer every comment on my last post, but know that I read all of them, and your words of encouragement and strength really helped! ♥️ 🐾

As many of you know, my grandfather passed away earlier this year. One thing people don’t often realize about losing someone during a Michigan winter is that sometimes you have to wait until spring for burial services. While we mourned him in January, this week has brought another wave of grief as we gather again to lay him to rest.

I’ve had to cancel quite a few appointments this week, and I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness and understanding my clients have shown me and my family. I’ll be working later hours next week to catch back up.

If you are waiting on scheduling texts from me, I may not get back to you until Monday. I’m doing my best, but this has been a hard week emotionally.

My summer schedule is already filling very quickly, and I’m currently booked through May unless I had to reschedule you due to this week’s services. If your pup will need a June appointment, please send me a text today and I’ll respond as soon as I can next week.

Thank you all for your patience, support, and understanding during this time. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

Some things to know about me:
1. I will absolutely talk to your dog in a weird voice… and I have zero shame about it. 🤪
2. Your dog will end up with multiple nicknames. I will probably sing them a little song using those names. (All created out of love.) 😆
3. I will cry when your dog crosses the rainbow bridge. 🌈 Whether you tell me in person or by text, please know the time I got to spend with your furry family member meant something to me.

If you’re looking for a job opportunity, my husband, and both of my parents work at Howmet Aerospace. There are many job opportunities there! Not only do they pay very well, I learned so much about the world working there! I helped to build engines for our military, and many airline companies. So cool to see that they were also part of NASA Artemis! I’m so thankful for my time working at Howmet.

Good morning, friends! ☀️ Spring break is officially over, and I hope you all had a chance to slow down and spend some quality time with your families.

Having my son helping out this past week was really special. He’s excited to be back at school, but already counting down the days until summer! I appreciate your patience as I took some time to teach him new things. I’m already missing my vacuum helper. 😅

We had a very busy week, and I didn’t get a chance to keep up with scheduling. I’ll be working through messages and appointments as quickly as I can this week.  I’m currently booking about 6 weeks out, and with springtime mud, cancellations are a few and far between. Thank you for your continued support and understanding! 💛

I know everything feels expensive right now. I feel it too. 💛

When you choose to support a small, local business, you’re not just paying for a service. You’re helping provide shoes, clothes, and opportunities for a hardworking family.

This is my “why.”
My son Lincoln has been helping me so much this year, vacuuming, mopping, and even cleaning kennels on his hands and knees. Watching him take pride in helping has been the most beautiful reminder of why I started West Michigan Pet Grooming in the first place… to spend more time with him.

Over spring break, he earned a $20 tip and decided to put it straight into savings for a new catcher’s mitt for baseball. 🥹 By the way, if you tip, it goes to him.

Thank you for supporting my business, my family, and this little guy who’s learning what hard work really means. It truly means more than you know.

 Happy Tuesday! I’m still catching up on scheduling between dogs today. If you haven’t heard from me, I’ll get back to you asap. This week is full! I should have answered more text messages over the holiday break, but I’m working a lot of hours to catch up now. 💟
