This week’s Staff Favorite spotlight goes to our goofy, lovable guy Milo—and trust us, this little dude is impossible not to adore 🐶✨

At 4 years old and around 30 pounds, Milo is the perfect mix of playful energy and affectionate companionship. One minute he’s zooming around with a toy, showing off his silly personality, and the next he’s leaning into you for love and attention 💚

What staff loves most about Milo is his AMAZING personality. He’s outgoing, affectionate, playful, and always ready to make people smile 😆 Whether he’s tossing around a squeaky toy, exploring outside, or cuddling up with someone he trusts, Milo puts his whole heart into everything he does.

The McPherson Animal Shelter would like to sincerely thank our community for the overwhelming support, generosity, and compassion shown toward the abandoned litter of puppies
currently in our care. The donations, messages, and offers to assist have been greatly appreciated by both our staff and volunteers.

At this time, the puppies are considered to be on a stray hold and are not eligible for foster placement or adoption. In addition, the puppies cannot be adopted until they are at least 8 weeks old.
Once they are of appropriate age and become available for adoption, they will be publicly posted through the shelter.

Our staff continues to work through this situation day by day, and we would also like to extend our gratitude to our county and city departments for their immediate willingness to assist with the puppies' around-the-clock care. Their support has been invaluable
during this time.

To protect the health and wellbeing of the puppies, the shelter will not be offering public visits or meetings with them at this time. We appreciate the public's patience and understanding as we focus on
providing the care they need. Updates regarding future visitation opportunities will be provided when appropriate.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends today, we also reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we could enjoy the freedoms we have every day ❤️🤍💙

🐾💖 ADOPTED: DIVA FOUND HER FOREVER HOME! 💖🐾

We are so excited to share that sweet Diva was adopted yesterday and is officially headed to her forever home! 🏡✨

This adorable little Corgi/German Shepherd mix completely stole hearts with her sweet personality, unique looks, and loving nature — and now she has a family of her very own to love her forever 💕

Diva came to us as a gentle, affectionate girl who loved squeaky toys, walks, cuddles, and spending time with both people and other animals. We are so happy that she found the perfect family to continue all of life’s adventures with 🐶💖

Thank you to everyone who shared her post, supported the shelter, and helped Diva get noticed. Every share truly makes a difference for homeless pets waiting for their chance at a forever home 🐾

This week’s Staff Favorite spotlight goes to our sweet and gentle girl, Merry—and it’s easy to see why she has completely captured our hearts 🐶✨

At around 1 year old, Merry has such a calm and comforting presence about her. One of the first things everyone notices is her absolutely beautiful golden eyes 💛 They’re soft, expressive, and perfectly match her sweet personality.

Merry can be a little shy at first, especially after spending time in a shelter environment, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate side truly shines 💜 She loves leaning into you for comfort, quietly cuddling close, and gently showing affection in the sweetest ways.
