🚨🚨 We will be closed for Labor Day on Monday Sept 7th; open 8am-12pm on Tuesday Sept 8th (NO Dr); 8am-5pm on Wednesday Sept 9th (Dr. here from 2pm-3pm); 8am-5pm on Thursday Sept 10th (Dr. here from 8:15am-12pm); and 8am-12pm on Friday Sept 11th (NO Dr.). Thanks everyone!

Emergency Care Policy
Our clinic strives to be available for your emergency needs as best we can. However, at times the doctor may be in the middle of other emergencies or have personal emergencies/obligations themselves that must be dealt with and will be unavailable during your time of need.
You may call the office after hours at (618) 643-2957 to get the emergency number. Please leave a voicemail on the emergency number and the doctor will call you back.
Please keep in mind that the doctor will triage emergencies and the sicker pets will get priority.

1. U of I Veterinary Teaching Hospital → Urbana, IL (2 hour, 50 min) → Open 24/7

2. All Pets Emergency Clinic → Evansville, Indiana (1 hour, 15 min)→ Open 6p.m. to midnight W, R, F; Open Saturday 12p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 am to 8 p.m. Phones open 8 a.m. Sunday. Provides overnight care but does not see new patients after closing. Owners must pick up in the morning during the week. Will keep over the weekend.

3. Animal Emergency Clinic → Collinsville, IL (1 hour, 40 min)→ Open M - R 6p.m to 8 am next day, open Friday 6 p.m. until 8 am Monday.

4. Lakeside Emergency and Urgent Care → Carbondale, IL (1 hour, 5 min) --> Thursday Noon-10pm, Friday Noon-12 a.m., Saturday Noon-12 a.m. Urgent care only and no overnight hospitalization or intensive surgery.

🚨🚨🚨 We will be closed on September 7th for Labor Day and Dr Wendy will be on vacation September 4th - September 11th but we will have someone in the office to make appointments and fill meds. Dr. York and Dr. Harbison will be here on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning for their normal appointments too.

Other days Dr. Wendy will be gone in September...15th afternoon, 16th, and 17th!

This is Lilly! She is a very sweet old lady we have at the clinic and is in need of a loving home ❤️ She needs to be indoors and an only cat because she does not get along with other cats. She is on thyroid meds twice a day but does well taking them! If someone would like to give her a home to live out the rest of her days we will supply the meds and the vet care to help keep her healthy! Please contact the clinic if you are interested in sweet Lilly or if you have any questions about her 🐈

We found a ring in the clinic parking lot this week. It has a name and date engraved on it. Call if you are missing it.

Anyone interested in adopting a male neutered mixed breed (Aussie or lab mix?) about 65-70 lbs? He has minimal manners but was walked on a pinch collar and did better with pulling. He is food motivated. He needs to be in a single pet household preferably and will someone willing to work with training. Please call the clinic with any questions at 618-643-2957.
