Hey everyone. We have gotten lots of calls about rat poison lately. Please be aware there are 3 types - the type that causes bleeding, they type that causes neurological symptoms and the type that causes kidney or liver injury. Please be aware of what type you have as sometimes the only treatment is catching the ingestion and making your pet vomit. Once there are symptoms we can be very limited. Make sure to have unexpired 3% hydrogen peroxide in your emergency kit.

‼️ FREE 840 Tag Pick-up Opportunity ‼️

The Illinois Department of Agriculture and IBA have partnered together to give beef producers the opportunity to order and pick-up 840 tags through the RFID 840 Tag Program during the Illinois State Fair! Read below to find out how:

Any producer who submits the 840 Tag Program Order Form by Friday, August 2, and denotes the code "ISF" in the "Date of pick-up" space is able to claim up to 500 free tags. Great Dane needing a new home (prefer prior Dane experience)

Dr. Wendy has been fostering a harlequin/Merle Great Dane for the last 2-3 weeks. She came to be with Dr. Wendy after being aggressive to some of the staff at the kennel. She loved two of the care takers but did not trust anyone else. She has bonded quickly with Dr. Wendy. She has learned the routine well and appears housebroken, however she does not like the terriers in the house hold. She gets along with the other Great Dane and has worked out her differences with the beagles. She is about 85 lbs, heartworm negative, has been vaccinated , and is spayed. If you are interrested in giving her a forever home contact Dr. Wendy at 812-307-9579.
