ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES… THAT’S WHAT THEY SAY.

Well… Mother Nature has decided to throw us another one. 🌧️

With a significant amount of rain currently forecast for Sunday, November 1st, we have made the difficult decision to make some changes out of an abundance of caution.

🎃 THE SPOOKTACULAR WILL NOW RUN SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST ONLY.

Race Time: 10:00 AM
Exhibitions: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Is this what we wanted? Absolutely not.

But working for free while doing 10x the work trying to keep the ground safe and the event moving simply isn’t a great option either. Most importantly, the safety of the horses comes first. Always.

This is especially tough because 2026 marks the final year of the Spooktacular, and after 12 years, it has certainly been one hell of a run. ❤️

For those entered Sunday only who cannot make Saturday:

👉 Email [email protected] and we will get you drawn out.

For those entered both Saturday & Sunday, we will be working through the refunds for the Sunday portion.

If you need to draw out for any reason, please email [email protected].

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work through Mother Nature’s latest curveball.

12 years of Spooktaculars… let’s make this last one a good one. 🎃☠️

12th Annual Spooktacular OutLaw Barrel Races

10/27/2026

🎃 **ENTRIES ARE OPEN!** 🎃

Entries for the **Spooktacular & California WPRA Divisional Finals** are officially OPEN!

💰 **$1,500 ADDED MONEY PER DAY!** 💰

We are also aware of the ever-changing California weather forecast. As of right now, the forecast is calling for a **very minimal amount of light showers Saturday evening**, with approximately **.05" Saturday evening and .01" early Sunday morning.**

Of course, every forecasting app seems to have a slightly different opinion 😂 — so we will continue to monitor it.

**At this time, we are proceeding as NORMAL.** There is currently nothing in the forecast that we anticipate causing an issue with the event.

That being said, **safety will always come first.** If weather conditions create a legitimate safety concern, we will address it at that time and make the appropriate decision.

And yes… **this is the downside to an outdoor arena.** 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately, California is seriously lacking **affordable, readily available indoor facilities** capable of hosting events of this size. We do everything we can to provide the best possible conditions, but every now and then, Mother Nature gets a vote. 😂

For now — **ENTER, LOAD THE HORSES, AND LET'S RODEO!** 🎃🐎🔥

💰 **$1,500 ADDED EACH DAY**
🏆 **Spooktacular + California WPRA Divisional Finals**
📲 **Entries are OPEN!**

We’ll keep everyone updated if anything changes.

🔥 LET’S BUILD A SERIES. 🔥

We want YOUR input. 👇

If we’re going to build a series, let’s build one that contestants actually want to run!

Tell us:

📅 What day?
⏰ What time?
🏆 What awards?
💰 What kind of added money / payout structure?
📊 How should we determine the winners?
— Points?
— Most money won?
— Average?
— Best finishes?
— Something completely different?

We’re listening.

Drop your suggestions below 👇
Let’s build this thing TOGETHER. 🤠🔥

WE’RE BACK IN BIDNESS. 😂🔥

So let’s have a JACKPOT! 💰

We’re going to be pretty quiet throughout October with Pink Buckle, Top Shelf, etc. — so why not get one in THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27! 🏁🐎

💰 PROGRESSIVE ADDED MONEY
🎯 We fully plan on hitting that $1,000 ADDED!

And don’t worry… we won’t nickel and dime y’all with a bunch of extra fees. 😂

Although, apparently y’all really enjoy paying those extra fees… ☠️☠️☠️

Come run, have some fun, and let’s throw some money around! Heck maybe we will drag at 4 , you can win anywhere on that ground 👀

📅 Sunday, September 27
💰 Progressive Added Money
🎯 $1,000 Added Goal

We’re back. Let’s make it worth showing up.

Congratulations to the winners.

Thank you all for participating.

Now the million dollar question should we do another series??

08/24/2026

Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our equine athletes, we have decided to postpone our final Sunset Series Race to Friday, August 28.

If you are already pre-entered and are unable to make the new date, we will gladly withdraw your entry and issue you a refund.

The safety and well-being of our horses always comes first. 🐴❤️
