🚨Training almost complete adoption ready🚨

Everyone meet Harley she is a 1 year old 50 pound female spayed Staffy mix. Harley is a beautiful energetic pup who is currently in our Ferry Tail Program where we take in a rescue dog to do a 4 week board and train to make them more adoptable. Harley will be trained to sit, down, heel, auto sit, down stay, sit stay, place, off leash recall and more(just for reference that is not how I normaly hold a leash I was trying to show she was being walked with 2 fingers on the leash). Harley will complete training and be ready for adoption 9/2/25. These videos were taken last week and are being posted in an effort to find an adopter for her when she finishes training. Harley loves other dogs but does play a bit rough as she is still a puppy. She is hesitant of strangers in the beginning but within minutes will be your new best friend. She would do best in an active house with someone who wants to have a best friend to go on adventures with. Harley will come with training tools/collars, an hour long go home in person lesson (to teach you how she is trained and to continue the training), a go home packet that covers all commands and follow up calls to check in on how her training is going. For inquiries or meet and greets contact Humane Society of McCormick County County or send Ferry Good Dog Training a DM with questions about behavior or training.

Let’s have a conversation. A lot of us have God Parents for our Children if something should happen to us but we don’t have arrangement for our dogs. We have delt with this over 100 times teaining of who takes responsibility for the dog in the case something happens to/with the owner. Maybe it’s time to make it the norm to have God Dog Parents.
