Eva is a stunning 2-year-old lady who is looking for a loving home. She has lived as an indoor/outdoor cat in the past and has been friends with other pets in the home. She loves people and will get up on your shoulder. She could live with other pets, but might be a little spicy when first introduced, so we recommend a slow introduction.

She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She just needs a home.

Adoptable S'More went on a Dog Day Out adventure to the McCall Airport on Sunday, and he had a blast checking out the helicopter and meeting the staff! Here is his pupdate:

S'More loved the ride to the airport and following commands while he was being unloaded. We got some good sniffing, and then we went crew to crew to meet all the wonderfully smelly fire folks.

S'More was very gentle at taking treats every time, and he enjoyed some really good rib scratches and ear rubs. He's treat-motivated, but he became more interested in pets when we stopped moving around and hung out for a few minutes. He fell asleep within 2 minutes of getting back on the road to MCPAWS. S'More was a very popular and rather photogenic visitor. 😍

Baxter is a very sweet 10-month-old adorable mixed breed pup full of wiggles. He is an active young man who will need continued training and socialization to be the best boy he can be! He gets along with other dogs, all people, and loves to play. Baxter is available for adoption with the agreement that he will be brought back on Thursday, August 27th to be neutered.

Update: Seraphina has found a home!

Seraphina is a female 2-year-old orange tabby with a bit of a spicy side. She has lived with dogs and other cats in the past and has enjoyed having other pets in the home. She did love the dog in her home the best. Seraphina is not exactly a barn cat, but also not exactly a friendly house cat. She will accept pets, but only on her terms - get it wrong, and you'll get swiped.

She will do best in a home without small children. She would also do best in a home where her boundaries will be respected. She can be very sweet, but it is on her terms. She is the boss, and you'd best not misbehave.

My name is Mazy, and if you ask my friends at the shelter, they will tell you I am the ultimate lady. I am 5 years old, and I absolutely adore people. If you sit down, I will be right there to lean against your legs. If you leave the room, I will happily follow you just to make sure you are doing okay. Being part of a family is my absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world.

Lately, the nice humans here have been talking about my figure. They use polite words like "robust" and "plump," but let's be honest: I love treats, and I have packed on a few extra pounds! I am looking for a workout partner who wants to go for daily strolls. We can walk around the neighborhood, sniff all the interesting things, and get healthy together. I promise to be the most enthusiastic walking companion you have ever had.

In my past homes, I lived with cats and small children, and I did great with both! I know how to be gentle and patient. However, when it comes to other dogs, I prefer to keep all the attention for myself. I have so much love to give that I really need to be your one and only pup. I am ready to trade my shelter kennel for a real home. Could your family be the one I am looking for?

Update: Cougar has found a home! We do have one kitten available for adoption. Stop by to meet Fanta!

😻Cougar is back at the shelter because the dog in her home was playing a little too rough with this little lady. That means you get another chance to adopt this sweet 2-month-old kitten! She is here waiting to meet you.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find a loving home! We open at 11:30am!

Jake is a very handsome 6-year-old wiggle butt with a charming personality! He has lived with other dogs, cats, and kids in his past home and does great with everyone. Jake may look like the perfect bird dog, but he happens to be afraid of pheasants. 😆 That's okay, buddy, birds can be scary.

Jake is crate-trained, and it is recommended that he be crated in the home when left alone. This guy is a total love bug who adores his people! He would love to find a family who will give him lots of love.
