Many of you remember my silly Doberman, Moses, and how he would turn his back to me—and to the rest of the store—only to stare intently at the wall. Sometimes I’d post funny things there for him to contemplate, like math equations, profound quotes, or his favorite: a cute pinup girl.

While walking through a garden area at Dog Mountain on Sunday, I was comforted to discover that lucky Moses has been reunited with his girlfriend in the afterlife. 😂

The Bonnie dog took Mary and me to Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, yesterday. It was our first trip, though we’ve been big fans of theirs for many years. Bonnie met quite a few dog friends and we cannot wait to return.

Two of our great friends left a photo of our previous dog, Yogi, in the chapel back in 2023, and we were so happy to find his picture in one of the chapel scrapbooks. It was quite an emotional but fulfilling day in one of the most serene places on earth.

Hug your pups (and kitties) close. They are truly angels among us, who are gone in the blink of an eye.
