Public Announcement: We had a parvo-positive puppy come in today, with a very strong positive result, indicating a highly contagious strain in our community. We'd like to take this opportunity to remind pet owners about the importance of vaccinating their dogs and seeking treatment at the first sign of illness.

We carry a parvo treatment called Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody, which can be lifesaving if the virus is caught early. Prevention through vaccination is far safer and more cost-effective than this treatment.

Also, remember Parvo can live in an environment/fomites for months and can only be killed by bleach or bleach products. If your puppy is not fully vaccinated, it is a good idea to keep them away from public spaces where other dogs have been.
