Rosebud 12-19

I almost backed out at least 15 times yesterday. Even halfway there, I thought about turning around. But I went — and I was so glad I did. That feeling lasted all the way until I hit a deer 30 minutes from home 🤣

Hot Donnah’s second competition run and she was not far off the pace running a 15.3 and placing 2nd in the futurity class. She got a late start but is quickly figuring it out and getting more confident each run ⭐️

I sold this mare last year as a 3 year old and never officially had the chance to enter her. First time running her and she pulled off the win @ Kennedy Ranch with only two sub 14 runs.

She is a red mare through and through (😅) but holy cow is she fun 🔥

It just hits different when it’s one you’ve raised 🩷

The first month of riding her I always texted Logan “if you don’t hear from me in 15 minutes I probably got bucked off”. She definitely tried but hasn’t succeeded- yet!

First overnight show with Hot Donna and she handled everything amazing! Lots of spice but she is such an old soul.

We are a little behind the mark, but she looks more like her mom everytime I expo her. Excited to see what her future brings 🙏🏼

I have a 5yo AQHA gelding that I have put a lot of training into. He has been hauled to expo. Upon doing a set of x-rays, he does not x-ray the greatest and would be better suited for a lower intensity career. He is sound but would love to place him with someone that wanted a nice trail or playday horse as i worry he wouldnt hold up to the level I like to compete at. Really kind & gentle. Not a dead head so not for a beginner level rider. 16.1 hands

After 3 long months off, failed breeding attempts, lots of $$ (IYKYK), and some tears- we are doing the darn thing!

Second run back and it was good enough for 4th place @ Midland SuperKicker. This mare owes me nothing and every run on her is truly a blessing!
