At Rufflections, we get to pamper pups every day, but today is just extra special.

Trying to make a positive out of the situation, but the truth is that no shows hurt small businesses and the employees (especially if they're paid by commission). We also send out TWO reminders via text and/or email in order to help those (like me) who forget their own name half the time. All we ask is that you let us know so we can fill those appointment slots. To help the employees and the clients on the waitlist, we'll be starting a wait list just for this scenario! Let us know if you're interested when you book your appointment!

Meet Tosha – a certified groomer and the one behind Rufflections Pet Grooming

Every wagging tail. Every sassy cat. Every nervous pup learning the grooming ropes. Tosha loves them all. She even has a soft spot for the special needs, grumpy seniors, and rehab pups who need a little extra patience and understanding. For the past 13 years, she’s poured every ounce of her passion and care into making Rufflections a place where pets aren’t just groomed… they’re treated like family.

Tosha has taken the stage at grooming competitions across the U.S., earning multiple awards along the way—including an international win she’ll never forget. But it’s her commitment to education and raising industry standards that truly sets her apart. As Vice President of the Virginia Professional Pet Groomers Association, she works to mentor and inspire other groomers, teaching on everything from safe handling and salon best practices to mental health in the grooming industry. She even teaches pet CPR and first aid, helping professionals and pet owners alike keep the animals in their care safer.

As someone with AuDHD, Tosha understands firsthand how demanding this field can be—not just physically but mentally. That’s why she’s so passionate about supporting other groomers’ well-being and building a culture where taking care of yourself is just as important as caring for the pets we love.

Her philosophy? Simple. Every dog and cat deserves patience, kindness, and the highest standard of care. That’s what drives Rufflections every single day.

Tosha may not always have a big smile on her face (don’t let the RBF fool you), but her passion for her work and her love for every pet that visits the salon speaks louder than words. She’s here to make your pets look and feel amazing—because at Rufflections, it’s all about them.
