In Loving Memory of Love
July 19, 2021 – August 1, 2026
There are moments in life that change us forever, and saying goodbye to Love is one of them.
On August 1, 2026, we said goodbye to one of the sweetest souls to ever come into our lives. Love was so much more than our Chihuahua—she was family. She was our comfort, our constant companion, and a daily reminder of what unconditional love truly looks like.
From the moment she came into our lives, she filled our home with happiness. She had the sweetest personality and found joy in the simplest things. If she wanted attention, she’d sit up on her tiny hind legs and patiently wait, almost demanding her favorite thing in the world—a belly rub. It was impossible to tell her no. The moment someone reached down to rub her belly, her whole face would light up with happiness.
Love also had quite the appetite. She never turned down a meal, a snack, or a treat, and she somehow made every bite seem like the greatest thing she’d ever tasted. Food made her happy, but nothing made her happier than being close to the people she loved.
She was a champion cuddler. If there was an open lap, she claimed it. If there was a blanket, she wanted to be tucked underneath it with someone she loved. She had a way of making every cuddle feel like she was reminding us that we were exactly where we were supposed to be.
Watching her with the children was something we’ll treasure forever. She was gentle, patient, and loving, creating memories that can never be replaced. She wasn’t just part of our family’s story—she became one of its most beautiful chapters.
Our home feels quieter now. We still find ourselves expecting to hear her little footsteps, looking toward the places where she loved to nap, or waiting for her to come asking for one more belly rub. The silence she leaves behind reminds us just how much joy she brought into our lives.
Although our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful for every moment we were blessed to spend with her. Five years could never have been enough, but they gave us a lifetime of memories that we will carry with us forever.
Love, thank you for every cuddle, every laugh, every happy dance at mealtime, every moment you stood on your little hind legs asking for belly rubs, and every ounce of unconditional love you gave us. Thank you for teaching us that love doesn’t need words—it simply needs a warm heart.
Until we meet again, run free, sweet girl. We hope you’re surrounded by endless sunshine, soft blankets, all your favorite treats, and all the belly rubs your heart could ever want.
You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.
You will always be our little girl.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
