This holiday season, our hearts are so full because of you. To the Marion community: thank you for the overwhelming love, generosity, and support you’ve shown our homeless dogs and cats throughout the year. Every donation, share, volunteer hour, kind word, and act of compassion has helped give our animals warmth, comfort, and hope when they needed it most.

Because of you, tails have wagged a little harder, purrs have been a little louder, and countless lives have been changed for the better. You are truly the reason we’re able to continue our life saving work for the animals who rely on us.

Office Chairs 💺

Behind the scenes at the Humane Society, our team works tirelessly every single day to care for animals, support adopters, and keep our organization running smoothly. They spend long hours at their desks advocating, coordinating, and making magic happen - and comfortable, supportive office chairs make a real difference.

🎶 On the 3rd day of Christmas, my true love gave to us… 🎶

Office desks ☎️

The items on our Amazon Wish List are office desks that are measured to fit perfectly-three of them in our admin office, where much of our online and administrative work is done. The desks we currently have are old and damaged, and we're hopeful these new ones will last for years, just like the ones they'll be replacing.

We are incredibly appreciative of anything donated and completely understand how different this request is from the other days.

However, this is something we truly need inside the shelter, as this space supports the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running. We would love to give our staff something special for Christmas too. 🎄❤️💚

✨🐾 Today is the FINAL day for holiday
sleepover pick-ups! 🐾✨

We are open until 5 PM!

We are overflowing with gratitude for all the sweet dogs & cats who have already headed off to their holiday sleepovers and for the amazing families making room in their homes and hearts. These cozy getaways mean everything for our shelter animals! 🎄🤍

🎶 On the 4th day of Christmas my true love gave to us... 🎶

Indestructible dog toys 🧸 🐾

Our dogs LOVE toys-truly, all toys-but many of them are heavy chewers and tend to go through them pretty quickly. Toys are one way we hope to help keep their spirits up by making sure they have something fun and comforting in their kennels while they wait for their forever homes.

That said, we appreciate anything you're able to donate. Our pups are happy with anything and everything that brings them joy, and we're so grateful for all the love and support shown to them this holiday season! 🎄❤️💚

✨🐾 Tomorrow is the LAST day for holiday sleepover pick-ups! 🐾✨

We are so thankful for all the amazing pups who have headed off to their holiday sleepovers and for the incredible families who opened their hearts (and homes!) to them. Seeing these dogs get extra love, cozy couches, and festive cuddles truly means the world to us! 🤍🎄

We still have 20 more dogs at the shelter who would love a holiday sleepover of their own— let's see how many we can get tucked into a home for the holidays! ❤️💚

Thank you for helping make the holidays brighter, warmer, and happier for our shelter pups. We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you-safe travels and happy pickups tomorrow, our hours are from 12PM-5PM! 🐶✨

Stainless Steel kitty litter boxes 😺

We know they're a little more expensive, and we truly appreciate everyone's understanding as we do our best to keep our animals as healthy and comfortable as possible. Stainless steel litter boxes are non-porous, which means they don't trap odors, bacteria, or germs like plastic ones can. They're easier to fully sanitize, help reduce lingering smells, and are especially beneficial for cats with sensitivities or respiratory issues.
