Hey everyone! I know I have been in everyone’s prayers and that is truly appreciated! i’m still in rehab and missed out on a week because after my 28 staples were removed (laparoscopic surgery was not able to be completed due to scar tissue) the wound opened back up completely…like the grand canyon in the middle of torso…so I was back at Kennestone for another five days where they have attached a wound vacuum that quite literally has me all sealed up. Each time the wound specialist nurse changes the dressings I see the grand canyon knitting back together. I have to carry around the vacuum (her name is Letitia) which I sometimes forget about but it is all good! As far as the cancer, the surgeon believes he got it all out including the tumor and 18 lymph nodes…only one was positive for the cancer. I have a catscan on the 9th and see the oncologist on the 12th and will have a plan of action then!

Meanwhile here is a picture of Franny who came to visit me along with her sister Katie (from my window at rehab)!

What do we think of a silent auction in our retail area? We will curate a few small themed baskets and have a table set up for them. We would leave them out for a period of time (yet to be determined) where people could put down their bids. 25% of the proceeds from each basket will go toward a rescue of the bidder's choice! So...should we do it?!

Our Story

Who is a better trainer than someone who has been on the other end of the leash? I have had years of experience training my dogs with other trainers. I know what worked for me and what didn’t so when I had a mid-life crisis and decided to leave my corporate job, I decided that I wanted to learn the real science of dog training so I went back to school...dog training school that is!

In September 2017 Kritter Keepers Club had our grand opening. This was the business of my dreams! As a consumer of these products (boarding, daycare and training) I wanted to build the ideal place for our clients. Our tagline, “Where a dog can be a dog,” means that your dogs will run and play and even bark for joy! Although we encourage reservations, especially during our busy times, we know that sometimes you need spur of the moment service and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

There is no one size fits all at Kritter Keepers Club and when you become a member of our club, you become a member of our family!
