June marks National Dairy month and Dr. Stayduharr is eager to share her passion for the industry!

Producers give every cow individualized maternity care. Much like people, sometimes they calve on their own and need no assistance, sometimes we need to help move the calf into a better position so she can have the calf, and rarely we have to do a c section. After she gives birth she receives immediate post partum care and then is usually kept in a pen with other cows who either calved recently or have other special needs. Once she's doing great she'll go back to the regular milking herd. No matter how small or how big the farm, producers give these girls special care during this time so she can have a healthy lactation.

The cutie in the picture is a c section I did, it is actually one of my favorite surgeries!

Well they are turning back north. They are around Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia so if you are between there and Troy you may site on crazy veterinarian and one crazy eye doctor in purple bike gear.

Update: she has been found!!

Anyone seen this dog in the area? Went missing around 5 PM and was last seen by the intersection of SR 364 and Ft. Recovery Minster Rd. Look out and let us know if sighted! Thank you!!
