📣 Important Policy Updates for Grooming, Boarding & Daycare Services
To continue providing safe, reliable, and high-quality care for your pets, we are implementing several important policy changes. These updates help ensure fairness, support our staff, and keep our small business running smoothly. Thank you for taking the time to read them.
⸻
💲 Price Adjustments
Due to increased operating, sharpening, and supply costs, our grooming and boarding prices will be going up. Some pets are harder on a groomer than another, and pricing must reflect that. Breed, size, condition and temperament all play a factor in our grooming costs. Some will see a significant price increases while others may not have much change.
We base our pricing on $60 per hour, and coat condition and temperament fees may still apply when extra time, handling, or resources are required.
Boarding $ increase⚡️ (Effective January 2, 2026)
These adjustments allow us to maintain the level of care and attention your pets deserve and maintain enough staff while paying them a livable wage. We will be charging $30/night/dog and Holiday weekends will peak season (Memorial Day thru Labor Day) we will be going up to $35/night/dog.
⸻
💳 Card on File Required and all Online agreements signed
All clients must now keep a valid credit or debit card on file. This ensures efficient checkout and enforces our late and cancellation policies fairly across all appointments and we will not be spending time that we could be spending with family chasing down payments.
All agreements to our policies must be signed, you can log in to our app and sign these or you will be asked to sign when checking in your pet.
⸻
⏰ Updated Late & Cancellation Policy
We are now going to be sending out 2 reminders for appointments:
1. The day the appointment is made.
2. 3 days before your appointment.
The text will now ask you to confirm with a Y or to cancel text C.
All of these reminders should ensure plenty of cancellation time and time for us to fill your spot. Typically, we have a waitlist of clients wanting to get in and last minute cancellations or no shows, do not allow us time to fill these spots.
To keep our schedule running smoothly for all clients:
• 10 Minutes Late: A $25 fee will automatically be applied. This fee is considered a “work-in fee” because arriving 10 minutes late throws off our schedule for the remainder of the day and forces our staff to rearrange other appointments or potentially what they have planned at the end of their day.
• 15 Minutes Late: Your appointment will be automatically cancelled, and you will be charged 100% of the scheduled groom price with the card on file.
Late arrivals and no-shows significantly impact our schedule, our staff, and our ability to serve other pets. These policies help support our team and keep our business sustainable.
⸻
📞 Communication Boundaries
The pet care industry is a 24/7, 365-day-a-year job, and maintaining a healthy environment for our staff requires clear communication expectations.
• All messages, calls, and inquiries will be answered only during our posted business hours.
• Calling repeatedly does not speed up our response—it only takes attention away from another client’s pet and pulls staff away from paid care time.
• If you leave a voicemail, it will be returned.
• For a potentially quicker response, you may send a text, which our team can often reply to more easily when appropriate.
We appreciate your respect as we establish healthy boundaries that support both our team and your pets.

🐶 Daycare & Day Boarding Weather Policy
As our boarding numbers remain high, we will not be able to utilize our indoor play yard this year.
If the weather is too cold for safe outdoor play, daycare will shift to day boarding. During this time:
• Dogs will still receive ample supervised playtime
• Groups may be rotated in smaller sessions for safety and comfort
• Outdoor time will be adjusted based on temperature and conditions
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being remain our top priorities.
Daycare $ increase ⚡️
With our daycare numbers higher, which means more sanitizing, more supplies and time used and we needing staff to ensure safe play at all times so pricing will be increasing $5. All daycare times must be arranged by phone or text or on the app as each daycare dog needs to be assigned a kennel to ensure we have enough space that day.

❤️ Thank You for Your Respect & Support
