PNC had her CT scan, and we have some encouraging news to share 💚 Her results showed that things are looking good internally overall! There is one small mass in her left lung that our medical team will continue to monitor, but we’re grateful that the rest of her scan revealed no major concerns.

PNC still has a long road ahead as we work toward treating her extensive tumor load, but these results are a positive step in the right direction. Please keep this sweet girl in your thoughts and send lots of prayers and healing energies her way 🙏🏼🐢💚

Hanson Buoy, the biggest permanent resident at The Turtle Hospital, got fitted for some new weights today! 🐢⚖️

Our turtles with “bubble butt” syndrome rely on specially fitted weights to help them balance out in the water. Over time, those weights can loosen or fall off, so every once in a while, it’s time for a replacement!

Did you know you can also symbolically adopt Hanson Buoy? As one of our permanent residents, she’s always part of the Turtle Hospital family, and symbolic adoptions are a fun way to show your support for the turtles in our care 😊🐢💚

💚 Baby Myrtle update! 💚

Myrtle is still struggling with positive buoyancy, but he had been eating well for us until recently, when he became a little more finicky. We’re hoping his appetite picks back up, especially for his favorite seagrass! 🌿🐢

We’re continuing to keep a close eye on this brave boy and hoping for some positive progress soon. Keep those prayers and healing energies coming 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹

With their unique coloring and spooky nickname, Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles are a fun reminder that nature has plenty of surprises up its sleeve! 👻🌊

And the best part? We have our very own ghost turtle! Bender, one of our permanent residents here at The Turtle Hospital 💚🐢

Who knew we had little ghosts living among us? 🎃👻

Logan could use some extra prayers and healing energies today ❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

This little green is still working on regaining his strength after his extensive tumor removal surgery and received IV nutrition to help support his recovery.

We’re taking things one step at a time and giving Logan all the care and support he needs to heal. If you have a little extra good energy to send his way today, we know he’d appreciate it 🐢💚

Familia had another round of wound care today ❤️‍🩹🐢 While she was out of her tank, she also received Class IV laser treatment to help support her healing!

Her blood levels have improved! 🙏🏼 Now, we’re hoping her appetite picks up a little more so she can continue rebuilding her strength 💚

Of course, this girl still has a soft spot for her favorite treat — lobster! 🦞😋 If you’d like to support Familia’s recovery, contributions to her “Lobster Fund” are always appreciated.

Tour de Turtles is usually a race based on distance traveled, but our turtles love hanging around the beautiful Florida Keys 🏝️😅 So this award is a special chance to celebrate our amazing patients who completed their treatment and made it back into the wild! 🌊

High Flyer update 💚🐢 Our newest green sea turtle patient received fluid treatment with vitamins, and our team was able to remove air from her coelomic cavity ❤️‍🩹 She’s still pretty floaty in the water, so tomorrow she’ll head for a CT scan to help us learn more about what’s going on.

For now, we’ll make sure this gorgeous girl settles in comfortably as we continue to monitor her. Please keep those healing energies coming for High Flyer 💚
