Hi Folks! There have been reports of random loss of power due to the heat. If you have no power, please feel free to come by for some nice, cold water and hang out with us for a bit. 🥰 If you need a place for your pup(s), they are welcome to hang out with their friends in the AC as well or splash around in the pools under our big, shaded tents. 💦 Our generator is very reliable and works great should there be any issues with power outages.

Good grief, it was a hot Monday!🔥Our day was spent rotating between the outside yard and AC indoor play area. 🎾🐶🎾 We made sure both canines and humans stayed hydrated and sheltered from the heat. The most popular activity by far today was swimming in the pools!! 💦🤿 We couldn’t change the water fast enough, it seems! 🐾😂 Here are our pics of the day…cheers! 🍻🩵

Our Story

Preferred Pet Care, Inc. is an all- inclusive, luxury resort for dogs with over twenty-two years in business. We offer overnight boarding, doggie daycare, grooming/bath/spa services, and a retail area. Our facility is situated on one acre in Maplewood NJ, conveniently located less than five minutes from Rt. 78 and fifteen minutes from Liberty International Airport. We are also easily accessible via GSP. Your dog can spend the day playing and running with friends in a social environment that has been designed for safety and FUN! With large open areas both indoors and outdoors, your dog will get all the exercise he or she needs. When your pup gets tired, he or she can rest in one of our state-of-the-art rooms in our climate-controlled facility, or outside basking in the sun. There is no need to feel guilty anymore about leaving your dog home alone all day while you're at work or on the go.

Although space is limited, we also provide Taxi Service to some areas for Doggie Daycare for those unable to drop off or pick up themselves.
