Hi! I'm Kelly! 🐾 I started dog training over 30 years ago, and I've had the privilege of helping thousands of dogs and their families along the way.
My journey has taken me from working at the Humane Society of Wright County and the Animal Humane Society to private in-home training, and now to Cash & Eddie's Dog Training, which is proudly starting its 3rd year! 🎉
Along the way, I became one of the first trainers in Minnesota to earn my Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) certification, completed an 18-month Animal Behavior program, graduated with honors from the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA-CTP), and have fostered hundreds of dogs while personally rescuing and rehoming 161 dogs. ❤️

I started Cash & Eddie's because I wanted a training center that focused on quality over quantity. Small class sizes, a welcoming atmosphere, honest coaching, and a place where every dog is welcome—even the ones who aren't "perfect."
That mission is personal to me. Cash and Eddie became dog-reactive after an off-leash dog incident, and I know how difficult it can be to find a place where you feel supported. That's why we give dogs the time, space, and tools they need to succeed.
My favorite part of training is seeing an incredibly frustrated pet parent have a breakthrough in communication with their dog. As soon as they speak the same language, the puzzle pieces go together seamlessly. When they are done with a 6-week course, they are a team working together! 🐾
💙 My best training advice: Be consistent. Find just 10 minutes a few times a day to work with your dog—you'll be amazed at the results.
When I'm not training at the shop, you'll find me spending time with my son, gardening, paddleboarding, listening to music, and of course--working with my own dogs!
