It is with a bittersweet heart that we say farewell for now to Miss Opal. 🤍
Opal came to us in the fall of 2025, and today, she makes her way back home to her family.
There were a few tears shed… but they come from a place of pride.
Opal was the very first horse trained under SNRP.
When she arrived, she carried a lot of anxiety, living in a constant flight mode, fired up, impatient when tied, unsure, and lacking confidence in herself.
Now, Opal has blossomed into a wonderful young lady. She has beautiful ground manners, patience, a kind and gentle nature, and the willingness to try anything that’s asked of her.
She has even done her first show with mom like a dream! She’s kid friendly, dependable, and one of the smoothest, most elegant horses I’ve ever had the pleasure of riding.
She didn’t just learn, she grew.
And that’s what makes her so special.
She’ll be deeply missed by our facility and our family. Even though we know we’ll see her again, it won’t be the same without her here.
I have no doubt she’s going to be an incredible family horse, and I truly cannot wait to see everything she goes on to do.
I’m so grateful to her owners for trusting me with a member of their family. That kind of trust means everything. 🤍
