Bing is running out of time, and we desperately need your help.

This sweet girl is struggling in the shelter environment, but the moment she steps out of her kennel, you meet a completely different dog. Outside of her run, Bing is affectionate, eager to connect, and so deserving of the chance to show who she truly is.

Shelter life simply isn't where Bing can shine. The stress of confinement is taking a toll, and her deadline is approaching quickly.

Please share Bing's information with your fosters this weekend. One open foster home, one rescue partner, or one person willing to give her a chance could change everything.

Bing deserves more than to be judged by her worst moments in a kennel. She deserves the opportunity to decompress, be understood, and find the happy ending every dog hopes for.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend Reminder 🇺🇸

PUPS will be open during our normal hours today. However, the facility will be closed to the public Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Staff will still be on site throughout the weekend caring for the pets at the facility, and officers will continue to have access to bring animals in as needed.

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend while taking time to remember and honor those who served. ❤️

Meet Molly

Molly recently came to the shelter as a stray, and unfortunately her owner could not be reached. She’s now looking for a quiet foster home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

This sweet girl is not in the best shape right now — she is thin and appears to have dealt with chronic ear infections that will need some ongoing care and attention. Even so, Molly has remained incredibly gentle and loving with people. She is calm, quiet, and has a very sweet nature.

We are still learning how Molly does with other dogs, so at this time we think she would do best in a peaceful, patient home where she can decompress and receive the TLC she deserves.

Molly has clearly been through a lot, but she is kind-hearted, trusting, and ready for a fresh start with someone willing to help her heal.

When she came to us, she was painfully thin, covered in urine stains, had overgrown toenails, and healing wounds that told a story no dog should have to live through. But despite everything she’s endured, Kabuki greets everyone she meets with a happy tail wag and a gentle, loving spirit.

Kabuki is safe now, and she’s ready for the next step: a foster home where she can finally rest, heal, and experience kindness and comfort. She could really use some TLC, good meals, soft blankets, and patient love before she’s ready to find her forever family.

Before you ask: yes, I was found on the window ledge of a Wendy’s drive-thru. No, I was not employed there. I was simply going through a difficult time and exploring my options.

These days, I’m looking for something a little more stable — like a foster home with soft blankets, kind humans, and fewer people asking if I “come with fries.”

I can be shy when we first meet. Big changes make me nervous, so I may spend a little time hiding, observing, and silently judging your household from under a chair. But once I realize you’re safe? I turn into a total sweetheart. I love affection, gentle pets, and following my favorite people around like a tiny furry assistant manager.
