🎃 Happy Halloween from the cutest pirate & witch in town! 🐱🐶💙

While you enjoy all the spooky fun, keep these in mind to keep your fur babies safe tonight! 👇

🍫 Chocolate & xylitol — toxic to pets, keep candy out of reach
🕯️ Open flames — curious pets + candles = danger
🚪 Doors opening constantly — stressed pets may bolt
🎭 Costumes — make sure they're comfy & not a choking hazard
😨 Loud noises — keep anxious pets in a safe, quiet space

The treats are for you — not for your pet! 🎃🐾

Have a safe & spooky Halloween! 👻

That candy wrapper looks harmless… until your dog decides it’s a snack. 🍬👀

Swallowed wrappers can cause choking or intestinal blockage. Keep treats and trash out of reach, and call your vet if anything disappears. 🐾

10/29/2026

🎃 Did your pup make the treat list? If yes, snacks are approved. 😂🍬

If not… give them treats anyway. They’ve already contacted management. 🐶👻

😺 Happy National Cat Day!

To the little royals who own our hearts, our couches & our souls. 👑💙

Today's agenda: extra cuddles, their favorite treats & zero judgment for being absolutely unbothered. 🐾✨

Spoil your cat a little more today — they'd do the same for you. (if they felt like it) 😂

⚠️ Bird flu found in California, keep pets at least 50 feet away.

Canada geese at Crown Memorial State Beach in Alameda have tested positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza, commonly known as bird flu. 🐦

If you’re out walking your dog near parks, beaches, or areas with wild birds, keep pets away from sick or dead birds, carcasses, and droppings. If you come across a deceased bird, stay at least 50 feet away and report it to local authorities.

A little extra caution can help keep pets and families safer. 🐾

National Pit Bull Awareness Day is a chance to celebrate pit bulls, encourage responsible dog ownership, and look beyond stereotypes. 🐶💙

Every dog is an individual, and today is a great reminder to get to know the dog in front of you instead of judging by appearance alone. 🐾

For the pit bull parents out there, you already know the truth: these pups can be goofy, affectionate, energetic, cuddly, and full of personality. 😂❤️

Now we want to meet YOUR pittie! 👇

Drop a photo in the comments and tell us their name and funniest personality trait. Let’s fill the comments with some pit bull love!

National Pets for Veterans Day is October 21! 🐾 Today we celebrate the special bond between veterans and the animals who bring companionship, comfort, connection, and plenty of unconditional love into their lives.

For some veterans, that bond can be life-changing. Pets can provide routine, friendship, and a reason to get moving each day, while trained service dogs can also assist with specific needs. ❤️🐶

It’s also a great reminder that shelter and rescue animals may be waiting for their chance to become someone’s best friend.

Know a veteran with an amazing pet? Tag them, share their story, or drop a photo below so we can celebrate them together! 👇🐾

It’s Veterinary Technician Week, and today we’re celebrating Kelly, Crystal, and all the amazing veterinary technicians who make a difference every day! 💙🐾

At Central Valley Vet Hospital, we celebrate all vet techs. They play an important role in caring for our patients, supporting our veterinarians, and helping make sure every pet receives the attention and compassion they deserve.

From hands-on patient care to everything that happens behind the scenes, we appreciate the hard work, dedication, and heart each of them brings to our team.

Thank you, Kelly, Crystal, and all veterinary technicians, for everything you do for our patients and their families! 🩺🐶🐱

🐾 When every second counted — we said yes. 🐶💙

C.D.'s husky needed emergency surgery and other places couldn't help. We made room — same day — because that's what you do when a life is on the line. 🩺❤️

Affordable. Accommodating. Lifesaving. That's the standard we hold ourselves to — especially in moments that matter most. 🙏

So glad your girl made it through. Thank you for trusting us when it mattered most. 🐾✨
