Fun day at the ranch today! In spite of the crazy wind the show went smoothly we appreciate CSHA REGION 4 GYMKHANA riders, staff and volunteers who participated today.

Thank you to CSHA REGION 4 Gymkhana! What a wonderful day! Thank you everyone who helped and supported the Region 4 team!
Everything ran smoothly and Bob had the ground perfectly groomed!

Yesterday our ranch community lost the best boy. He loved attention and was safe for children to ride and beginner adults as well, he was used in our lesson program for several years.

Smoke was abandoned by his original owner so our family took care of him and loved him until one of our sweet borders Joel and his precious wife Nickie Abramson adopted him. Joel Abramson was kind enough to allow me to say my goodbyes. It’s never easy and I sobbed like a baby. But Smoke knew that he was loved. Is loved. Run free beautiful boy. Our hearts are broken.

It is with a heavy heart that our little guy Peanut crossed the rainbow bridge today to join his sister Zelda and brother Noah. He was dumped on our property 17 years ago!
This morning I knew that it was time. Thankfully our vet got him in right away and they were awesome. We held his little paw as he went on his final journey. He has been a mascot at the our ranch since he arrived.
It is also the anniversary of my Dad’s passing so I’m kinda a mess but comforted in knowing he is pain free.

Thank you all who participated in the CSHA Region 4 Gymkhana yesterday! It was a smooth running show and a beautiful day with mild weather. Looking forward to hosting more events in the future!

What a weekend ! We are so grateful for all the folks who came far and wide to attend the first CHSA Region 4 Gymkhana we have hosted in well over a decade. We certainly were surprised by how many people, riders and old friends who showed up to support us. It was definitely a team effort and we certainly appreciate the volunteers who helped not only the show staff but us personally. We even ran out of food in the snack shack ! First time ever! It was a great day, perfect weather and Bob had the arena perfect! Thank you so very much everyone who helped, rode, made hamburgers, fetched this or that and stayed all day to keep everything going. Special thank you to Lisa Bragg, Linda Quattlebaum, Angie Ward, Samuel Cunningham, Alex Linn for everything you did! I was able to sneak a few pictures before the lunch rush. Regret not getting pics of Bob, Linda Q, and Alex and Angie. We are tremendously grateful to you all.

I love my late afternoon walks. They’re helping me in so many ways. Sometimes I talk to folks if anyone is out , but I always stop to pat a horse nose or two. Today I was rewarded with a wet kiss on my hand ,licking me like a dog. So sweet . Then the sunset … it never gets old to me. I love it so much. The sweet guy with the white blaze his name is Re*****on ,gave me the kisses. ♥️
